The Broken Token Case for Mini-Size Cards

I bought this card holder to store my cards for Gloomhaven. It is just the right size to fit all of the cards it needs to hold, with a little extra room (that I used for some custom cards). Perfect size! You have to make sure you get smaller sleeves, or they might not fit in this container, but you CAN use sleeves (and I do).Putting the box together is probably the worst part of this box. I cracked some of the wood in a few places, although it's not enough to cause an issue. You have to be VERY careful with what you're doing. The wood is a thin particle board and can be chipped or cracked quite easily. It would probably be best if you had some sort of rubber mallet to help with assembly, but I did not. Also, the assembly fit is incredibly tight (both a good thing and a bad thing). This means that you will need more force than you can manage with your fingers alone (hence why you can easily damage it), but once it's together it will not come apart. Overall, I love this box. I wish I could have afforded a bigger organizer from Broken Token because I know their stuff to be great quality.

This works perfectly and looks great. However, I had to use a rubber mallet to put this together. Might be a good thing that the joints are really tight, but I wasn't expecting to have to use a tool.

The wooden insert for my Marvel Zombies board game is a game-changer. It fits flawlessly, providing a neat organization for the cards. Assembly is a breeze, making setup time a lot quicker. Overall, a fantastic addition for any enthusiast looking to enhance their gaming experience.

So maybe I got a lemon, but...The joints were so tight that the wood began splitting at the top exterior corners of the back (2A) and front (2C) pieces. The base (1D) also split from its center slat where the center divider (1D) fits into and caused some splintering. The wood is so thin that I really tried to finesse all the pieces in, but that still didn’t help. I would recommend having a little medium grit sand paper or a fine tooth file handy when assembling. Really bummed out because this item is exactly what I need for my Mantic, The Walking Dead: All Out War equipment and supply cards. Again, maybe I got a lemon, but my first experience with this product was not a good one. I’d love to give it another try to see if I was just unlucky, but I can’t justify spending another $17. I’m giving it 2 stars for now, because it wasn’t complete garbage and I could easily see another one piecing together just fine or with minimal sanding on the tabs.

Title pretty much says it all. Goes together solidly but they should specify this is meant for US mini cards or add 2 mm to each bay.
