This game is bizarre. I love bizarre. I discovered this game in a used game store. I saw a microphone for the gamecube for a few dollars. Previously I didn't know that such a peripheral existed. I purchased Odama so that I would have a game to play with my cool new microphone.Odama combines feudal Japanese warfare with pinball. You use the game controller to control your armies, as well as the Odama--a giant steel pinball. The microphone allows you to shout orders to your troops. Using your armies and the pinball game you seek to destroy or convert enemies, while advancing towards your goal of entering the enemy's gates. Levels are on a timer--as soon as the sun sets your game is over. The game also grows rapidly in difficult with each level.If you are a fan of nonstandard gameplay, Odama is a blast. I would highly recommend.
