Too easy
Great item. Didn’t want to be charged an exorbitant amount of money to have a medium sized limb removed. Got an anchored piece of rope. Tossed if over the limb, which was about 20 feet up. Tied the saw handles to each end of the handles and raised the saw into position. Saved a lot of money doing it myself. In this economy DIY is a must.

Chainsaw emergency
great for emergency. Gave one to my husband for the cabin and one to my son for hunting while in woods! Pocket size. With belt hoop to connect to belt. But long and sharp blades easliey folds up like a chain.

Not too effective on dead heartwood, Works better on live wood.
I got this to carry along on hikes in case I came upon a small tree down on the trail. I tried it on a old dead branch. It easily cut through the outer 1/4" of surface rot on the limb. Then when it got to the still solid heart wood, it quit cutting and jammed in the wood. My verdict is out until I have opportunity to try it out on a living wood tree. I had a chance to try this out on a small tree that a beaver had dropped onto a trail that I hike. It quickly cut through the branch until it got down to about 1" diameter and then it would jam. But by then, the limb was small enough to easily break the rest. So my verdict is that it is worth the investment.

Does not cut that well.
Hard to use and gets stuck a LOT. It was only able to cut live soft wood.

Cutting trees the organic way…no loud machines…just a bit of elbow grease and you can tame dangerous branches…Note don’t know how long the blade will last. Also note the chain will get stuck in some branches if the trunk is thick…

Great idea for those who don't or can't use petrol/electric chainsaw. Hard work, but very satisfying. Very effective.
