Better field of view and the best solution I’ve found if you have a wide face.
It’s hard to be definitive as we all have different shaped heads but this AMVR fascia seems to be the best option if you’re looking to upgrade from the standard supplied one. I’m my case I have a pretty wide face and also use prescription lenses fitted onto the Quest 2 lenses. I found the wide version supplied in the official £40 Oculus fit pack was a vast improvement but decided to look further afield after Oculus sent me a free VR Cover fascia as part of their solution for the issues people were experiencing with the standard foam one causing rashes in a small number of cases. I discovered the VR cover version seemed a little more comfortable and had a slightly improved field of view when compared to the standard Quest versions. It opened my mind to finding the perfect one for me. As you’ve probably seen in other reviews the AMVR version really is adaptable and particularly comfortable for those of us with wider faces. The padding is just right, I use the thicker of the two supplied. The ventilation seems to help a little too. I was particularly impressed with the materials used. There is a bit more flex to the AMVR fascia which helps with the comfort. The shape definitely helps with the field of view too. It seems to max out the potential. Mine is the all black version. I specifically chose this one as people have mentioned the light leak with the orange one. Once the nose guard is fitted it’s the most immersive experience I’ve had with the Quest 2. All in all I think it’s a great fascia and at around £30 it’s £10 less than the official fit pack. It looks and feels like a quality product. It’s very comfortable and good value for money.

Superior comfort
I have been through a few third party face interfaces and this is by far the most comfortable. The material is soft and has a cool feel to it. I am using this with a GOMRVR third party halo strap so the headset doesn't squash my case quite like the bondage gear that ships with the original! I also use this with glasses and they don't catch and pull anywhere as much as the original face interface, even with the extra side padding inserted. I had a very similar interface from Ali Express but that one was not comfortable around the nose. Although this doesn't have full padding around the nose, there is just enough extra to prevent discomfort. Not everyone will have a face the same shape or as ruggedly handsome as mine so experiences will of course differ. As many have mentioned already, this does let in light most noticeablly to either side and a bit towards the bottom so a star lost for that. It's largely only really noticeable in dark scenes where it can be distracting. For the comfort factor though, it's a small price to pay and easily solved with some paint or black tape or other creative idea! On the subject of small prices, at £25 the price isn't particularly small but then it's definitely one of the better interfaces to press onto your face.

Not bad
Okay, I bought this because my daughter gets very hot in the VR mask when she plays gorilla tag, and the one that comes with meta just soaks it up and ends up wet very quickly. This is very easy to attach to the VR and the padding just valcros on, so is easy to put on and remove. However... The airflow grooves are pretty much just a gimmick, they don't stop the lenses from fogging up, nor does it help keeping your head temperature down to prevent sweating. They are comfortable, and they don't get drenched like the meta standard one. The nose guard is easy enough to fit and it leaves the viewing area in complete darkness, which enhances the VR experience. This is definitely worth buying to swap your meta one with, but don't buy if you think it'll stop fogging and sweating, because it won't. But for comfort and everything else... I can't fault it. It's worth the money but if you do sweat a lot, I would buy this and still invest in a face mask sweatband 👍

Really, really comfortable
At last, a "facial interface" that makes the Oculus comfortable to wear! It is easily adjustable as the various different padding options, used together or on their own, attach via a velcro type fastening so while they stay on firmly, they are also easy to adjust without losing any of the "stickiness". Not only this, but it really effectively cuts out the light all round, which is hard to do on my smaller face, which was my other criterion. Still quite expensive for what it is, and at the price I would have expected better packaging (perhaps they save that for shop floor products?). Seems good quality and sturdy but obviously time will tell. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it. I can't think of any real negatives past the price. HTH.

Better but not as good as others
I got a second quest 2 for my family so we can play together, to save a little bit of money I thought I would try a cheaper (not cheap!) facial interface. Comfort is ok. Much better than the stock. However, it is not as good as the kiwi one I have used on my main quest (and previously the same brand on my rift s). Light still makes it around the nose blocker and the padding is not as soft and well-fitting as other brands. Overall, I would recommend this if you are a casual vr player, but if you are going to put in hours and comfort is paramount, pay a bit extra for something better.

Comfortable and secure fit but light bleeds through the orange plastic...
Clips in a lot more securely than the VR Cover and texture of the pleather is the most comfortable that I have found. I can see light through the orange plastic (why didn't they stick with black) and I can't use the thin padding as my eyeballs touch the lenses. I really like the AMVR lens protectors (it has been improved by them cutting a section out of the top).

Highly Recommended
I picked this not knowing anything about the product, watched reviews about it and realised that it's one most vr users recommend, not biased because of this but tried it today and it's amazing, you get different thickness pads and two side pads to get the tightest fit to your face and a nose peice to stop light interference and that works perfectly, it's so much nicer than the original that comes with the headset as it scratches your face but this one is so comfortable and you don't really notice it's on your face, the only thing I don't like is it would be nice to have a thicker pad for people with glasses, this does not bother me so much as I don't.
