How much propane do you go through for 3 hour fire?

Hard to answer as depends on how big of a flame you have. For the two of us sitting close, we start out with higher flame, then, as coals get hot, turn it down as it provides quite a bit of heat. We bought a 2 1/2 gallon tank and for the two of us, it lasted about 7-10 hours. Hope that helps.

Is the regulator removable? My RV propane line is already regulated.

We cannot advise removal of the regulator on any of our CSA approved propane fire pits.

How many hours of burn time will a standard 20lb (5 gallon) propane cylinder last?
