Perfect.
I'll start with a couple of points from reading previous reviews .This product is for pain relief and comfort and is designed to be used whilst laying on your back. So pointless complaining it's uncomfortable to use it whilst sleeping on your side. Also , yes, it is smaller than advertised when you open the package , BUT if you leave it for a while (as in instructions) it will revert to normal size. It is firm but not to firm and is comfortable. The reason I bought it was I needed something to elevate legs after hip surgery and eleviate swelling. I am tall and found that if you push the pillow forward so your heels are just on the edge it's more comfortable. This left a gap between back of thighs and slope which I filled with a cushion. So for a tall person it could do with being a bit longer but easily solved with the extra cusion. Was it comfortable ? Yes. Did it alleviate swelling ? Yes. I'm a side sleeper but got used to sleeping on my back. I wish I had found this when I had my first hip operation.

In summary, good, but...
I suffer with RLS and fibromyalgia, and have found that elevating my legs helps. The height and width of the pillow are great, I just wish it was a bit longer because my feet hang off the end, which is a little uncomfortable. Bit of a chemically smell when first unpacked but that wore off reasonably quickly. All in all a good pillow, just a few minor issues

Perfect leg elevation pillow
This pillow arrived ready to use, no having to remove a vacuum bag and wait for it to reshape. It is nice and firm and a really good size, perfect for post surgery leg elevation.

Helps with cramping (long term elevation)
I found when using random things as a foot rest, foot stall, pile of pillows, etc etc; that though this supported my foot after a while the back of my knee would ache or worse yet my thigh would begin to cramp. This wedge is perfect as it supports the entire leg and prevents the majority of discomfort, that being said I did have to put a pillow on top of it as its quite hard on the foot if you've had foot surgery.

I love it!
I love this cushion. I broke my ankle at the beginning of December and had surgery on it on Christmas Eve. I managed ok with a couple of cushions for a while but they kept slipping off each other. This cushion has been a game changer. It’s soft to the touch whilst also being very supportive. It is wide enough for both legs should you feel inclined, and is light enough that I can move it around on the bed easily with my good leg, It’s breathable, doesn’t get hot and has a removable, washable cover. What’s not to like?

1y later review
I have owned this elevation pillow for almost one year now and I've just purchased a new different brand one, giving me a different perspective and decided to leave a review. overall it is a decent product but it's also nothing special. I didn't think much of it since it provided the service it was purchased for - elevating sore legs. with that said and having now experienced a different, superior product I can honestly say it is not comfortable, it is too uncomfortably firm, the sharp angle is also uncomfortable for any other position aside from being glued to the pillow (for example if it slips back a bit which it will). I now own the lunvi leg elevation pillow, which is also wider by a whole 10cm, has a soft angle curve and it is so much softer on the legs while still providing great support and elevation. yes this served me for a long time but now I wish I had found the better option from the start. Oh, and this product has no handles for carrying - is much heavier, and the cover ages badly because overtime it created holes with stringy bobbles all over which makes it look worn and older than it is. for an occasional product this is quite bad.

Great foot rest but not so good cover
Really good and helps bring comfort after standing on my feet all day. The cover isn’t great though, you can take it off to wash but it bobbles really easily and it is hard to remove them. If it came with a different cover it would be perfect.

Excellent product
I have had foot surgery recently and need to keep my foot elevated for 6 weeks. I was struggling with pillows and cushions so bought this and it's perfect. Not quite as high as I need it to be but I've placed a cushion under it. It's very comfortable and has relieved the pain in my back. It bounced into shape in an hour of being unpacked. Its firm and covered in a good quality fabric. It's wide enough to have both feet raised. Excellent purchase

If you're contemplating one if these for any kind of foot/ankle issue, just do it. I bought this back in '18 with the intention of training myself to be a back sleeper and reduce wrinkles. But, I never could get used to it and stuck this in the closet and forgot about it. Every now and then a friend would notice it and be like.... ummm.... is there something you're not telling me about? Is this some kind of sex positioning aid? Lol, never have tried it for that. Maybe tho... Anyways, in '21 I had a lisfranc injury. If you don't know what that is, consider yourself blessed. Legit the worst foot injury possible. Intense swelling and pain. Ice and elevation were my only friends. Day 1 I really struggled to keep a stack of pillows high enough without sliding off. Adding ice and casts and boots, forget it. You have to like keep your leg muscles flexed to stay up, not relaxing. Day 2 I remembered that "sex pillow " lost in my closet. Game changer. If you have any injury, just get it. Even if you don't think you will need it long and your issue is minor, it's worth it. The pillow battle will get old quick. Even a minor sprained ankle will flare up at times. Even just a long day on your feet, it will feel good. Don't have to use it for sleep, just an hour or 2 with some ice is heaven. I also have a cradle like one to compare some of the pros and cons. It's one of the tallest available, so most effective elevation. (Bonus tip, if you're in it for a long haul and are temporarily needing even higher, get one of those foam balance pads and slide it under to add a little extra height. You'll probably like it for PT at some point anyway.) If you're having surgery, you will want serious elevation. Its wide enough for both legs, unlike the narrower cradle shaped ones. And it's nice not feeling all restrained. If you're creative, you can even figure out laying on your side while keeping your foot elevated. That being said, there are times where a cradle shape is better. With a heavy cast or boot and a seriously high level of pain, it's nice to be a little more protected. And if you have skinny legs and no cast, you can fit both legs on it, kind of. The biggest complaint is that the fabric cover is, well, hideous. Ugly and medical looking. Not very soft, very synthetic. It gets stringy and pills up crazy easily. Especially when you have a fiberglass cast rubbing on it. I'm pretty sure a more creative person could make a nice slip cover for it. But I just put a towel over it. It's not a deal-breaker. The cradle one is not such an embarrassing eyesore, doesn't look hideous if you have it out in the living room. And the cover is crazy soft and seems durable enough. Overall, if I had to pick just one, I think it would be this one. Every inch of height helps with swelling and pain. And it's just more versatile outside of acute situations. But both are good. And if aesthetics and softness of the cover are super important to you, the other kind might be better. I like having both. Trying to drag one from bedroom to livingroom on crutches is impossible.
