We purchased this writing desk, an L-shaped desk, and a filing cabinet for a small home office. It was great to be able to get matching sets to achieve a cohesive look in the limited space. All of the pieces are well-made, sturdy, durable, and look really nice. This purchase was made before I knew I would be starting a new career where I work remotely 95 percent of the time. This furniture withstands daily use of over eight hours and is comfortable to sit at. The L-shaped desk accommodates three large monitors, a small monitor, two laptops, a desk light, a label printer, two keyboards, and two mice, while still leaving room for some paperwork. The filing cabinet is spacious, providing space for a large multi-function printer with additional room left over. We are very pleased with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone. The writing desk is easy to assemble and can be put together by one person, while the L-shaped desk and filing cabinet are best assembled with two people. The instructions for the L-shaped desk were somewhat confusing, requiring careful attention to the details in order to ensure the pieces face correctly. So, allow yourself plenty of time for the L-shaped desk assembly if you decide to purchase it. The assembly directions for the writing desk and filing cabinet are very straightforward and easy to follow.

Quality appearance. Yes it's a laminate but a thick one and nicely done. Assembly is easy with the cam fasteners. Have some wood glue ready to use on one end of the dowel pins as they fit loosely into the predrilled holes and will drop out during assembly. You don't wan to loose them. No extra pieces of assembly hardware are included. The attention to factory packing is great. My carton arrived damaged but everything remained protected. I was impressed enough to order another piece of their furniture.

It's beautiful and very sturdy. My son (the assembler) said it had the clearest and best directions he'd ever seen.

My overall opinion on this purchase is for the money it’s a decent desk. I’ve had the desk for around 2-3 months now. Assembly was a little time consuming but easy enough. I did not require help with assembly until closer to the end, when you attach the arms to the desk counter so expect to ask someone to help you at least once. Took me around 3/4 hours to assemble. Quality: when I was assembling this desk I came across a couple pieces with cracks, the placement of the cracks didn’t seem detrimental to the desk holding up so I decided to put the desk together with those cracks instead of waiting for the manufacture to send new parts and delay assembly. In my pictures you can see the worst cracked piece. Another thing I wanted to note is the stickers used to number the pieces WILL peel the finish off! I peeled one of the stickers off right before attaching it to another piece and it pulled the finish off as you can see in the photo above. My advice would be to keep all stickers on unless they are visible and when removing be very careful! Another thing you need to be aware of is this is entirely particle board, the ENTIRE thing! Other things I did not like: the desk counter is not one unit, I was very unhappy with this but by time I realized it the desk was 90% assembled so I decided to just give it a try. You use 4 brackets to attach the 3 pieces that make the top of the desk. It’s a bit odd and makes me concerned about the longevity of this desk. Also, the drawer isn’t fully functional, as you would think. There is a bar that is screwed into the middle of the desk counter. It is located under the counter and inside of the the drawer area. I bought organizers for the inside of my drawer but am only able to utilize them in the front half of the drawer or they hit the bar when you shut the drawer. So just be aware that the draw space is limited. FYI: the back of the cabinet is closed off by a piece of cardboard (printer with the wood finish) and nailed to the back. If you want to use this desk where the back of it is showing It will be obvious that this is not top notch quality. Also this cardboard backing has no holes so if you plan to place anything that will need to be plugged into the wall you will need to create a hole on the cardboard. The back of the desk footing is also very thin, not like the front pieces that look like a normal piece of wood. What can I say, you get what you pay for. This is overall visually appealing from far away, but the quality isn’t quite there. If you buy this be prepared to be careful with moving it/using it because it will fall apart much easier than a wood desk would.

This desk is sturdy, elegant and clean minimalist farmhouse desk. I absolutely love it! It was also easy to assemble! I recommend this!

Easy to assemble-uses bolts instead of screws. Well made. Not exactly solid wood, but a good quality veneer. Legs are solid. Good value for product. Recommend for writing, computer, nice sized at 48”.

Desk was delivered in perfect shape and while it was a lot to assemble/ tedious, it was pretty easy to put together. Desk is the perfect size for two monitors and the keyboard pull out drawer works perfect, is large enough to also fit a mousepad/ mouse next to keyboard. I have no complaints, it’s even more beautiful in person. Just a heads up, it is delivered is an extremely heavy box so rather than breaking our backs carrying the box inside we took the pieces out in our garage and carried them up one by one. It made things much easier for us. Definitely recommend this desk overall!

When ordering big bulky items like this, seamless delivery is nearly as important as the product itself. Our delivery - caught on video - was slapstick comedy, with packages slipping off the trolly and one box end opening up from repeated falls. So first of all: Bush Home does an amazing job packing and protecting the product. Cardboard boxes that arrived in less than idea shape themselves still held undamaged goods! But there was one package that had broken open. The box had a message to call BushHome directly, so I did (not Amazon and not Bison, their Canadian distributer). BushHome customer service is truly remarkable. Impressively, a human being (!) answered the phone and talked me through the replacement process. They responded immediately to the photos I sent of the damage, and promptly sent me a replacement. It's always a bother - extra time and energy - to have to get something replaced. But BushHome has the best customer service I've experienced in decades! It gives me faith in US companies to get that kind of personal service I received. Disappointed. Very expensive for what it is. It’s very heavy and if I were to return it the shipping cost would be expensive. I don’t recommend this product
