What is the weight limit?

The weight limit set by Stamina for Warranty Purposes is 250 pounds. I have seen multiple videos on 'You-tube" that show men weighing around 350 pounds successfully using the machine. I purchased my Stamina X-Rower (35-1412) outside of Amazon, for a price closer to the original retail, have no problems using the machine and weigh around 325 pounds.

The Stamina 35-1405 looks the same, except for the paint color, and costs about $85 less. Any ideas on why the Stamina X is worth the extra money?

The X rower is the newest model from Stamina. The X rower has pivoting foot plates (moves with your movement so is more ergonomic) and the 35-1405 has fixed foot plates (they do not move). Also the new X rower has a 3 window display on the monitor so you can see more activity at once while rowing.

How does the Stamina X compare with the Concept 2 D?

I’ve only used a Concept 2, and got this for home and was disappointed. It is clearly 1/3rd the price, because it’s at least 1/3rd the product.

I am 6'5". Will I hit the stops on this machine?

All I can tell you is that I am 6'2" and I don't hit, I am about 3" from the stops. One thing to note, there is not much resistance on this machine. I've had others with more and this one is not adjustable...I'm thinking of making a fan cover to get some more resistance. Overall it's good quality but I added Loctite and re-torqued every bolt.....they were loose.
