This thing is great. I wanted a popper that could give results similar to movie theatre popcorn, and this does. The ease of use and "pop" results are what I was hoping for. The taste, with the right amount of salt and oil, is spot on, and 99% of al kernals pop up nice and fluffy with no burn.

The Whirley Pop popcorn maker works as promised. I have made 3 6qt batches of popcorn without an “old maid”. Easy to clean up and ready to make the next batch.

This is a gorgeous popcorn popper, I’m obsessed with the copper color. There was a defect and the manufacturer couldn’t have been better at taking care of the problem. I love shopping through Amazon and I am now in love with the Whirley Pop company and their integrity. I highly recommend this product.

I was looking for a popcorn maker that did not have plastic or require use of a microwave. This is PERFECT!!! It is pretty enough to leave out and simple to use/clean. It is easy to use, with or without oil. Using the turning mechanism makes the process much easier than shaking a pot. It is easy to hear the frequency of kernels popping, less likely to burn, and safer to let the kids help. The split top provides a quick option to check on the popcorn and pour into the bowl without stray kernels flying across the kitchen. It is also quick & easy to dump the first batch and keep popping for larger groups. Clean-up is fast & simple. No need to worry about melting parts, plastic in the popcorn or burning fingers from just touching a lid. The handles and crank mechanism are wooden.

Excellent popcorn for my induction cooktop and whirlypop popcorn maker. Kernels aren’t gigantic, but slightly larger than average, good for catching all the melted butter and salt. Very few unpopped kernels left over which is great— thing since I can no longer trust my teeth to eating them anymore. Recommend!!! Cook popcorn in real oil (avocado) with a high smoke point

This popper is really beautiful. But, it is really heavy, much heavier than the non-copper plated Whirley-Poppers. I need to hold the handle with both hands to pour out the popcorn, and I am a pretty strong lady. If you are ordering this for grandma, you might consider the lighter-weight options. Also, please be aware that these poppers are non-refundable. I ordered extra to see which I liked best, and now I get to keep all of them. : / (My 18 year old Whirley-Pop is still very functional and still makes GREAT popcorn, and though the gears are plastic they still perform perfectly. If you love great popcorn, this product won't disappoint. Just maybe order one at a time.)

I made my first batch this evening with organic popcorn and it was AMAZING! I was about to add butter but it was so good with just salt. I used 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and a half of cup of popcorn and it made enough for 4 people. Just bought 2 more for my kids and another to donate to an upcoming gala gift basket.

The metal gears are terrible quality. They catch and lock up making the thing really difficult to crank and not fun at all

Bin wirklich begeistert! Ich habe Popcorn mit der empfohlenen Menge Öl erhitzt, einmal noch mit Zugabe von Zucker. Das Ergebnis war beide Male hervorragend! Besser als im Kino! Kein angebranntes Popcorn, nahezu alle Maiskörner sind aufgepoppt. Außerdem lässt sich der Topf gut reinigen. So leckeres Popcorn hatte ich vorher noch nie selbst hinbekommen. 😊
