Provisions Protein Bars Variety Pack, Venison, Chicken, and Beef Flavors, Keto and Paleo Friendly, 12 ct

I eat a modified paleo diet and also try to follow macros, but I struggle with getting enough protein. I really like these meat bars. They all taste good. The Jalapeño Beef is the spiciest of the 4, but I still enjoy it too. The Venison bar is my favorite of the 4 pack.

The packaging is great, fancy looking and good size. Thought would be great to take them backpacking. But man I don’t know why anyone can say this taste good. The textures remind me of dog treat pup-peroni except it’s bunch of them compressed together. The flavors are not great either, at least not enough to overcome the texture. I ordered a 12 packs, ate one bite and dreaded whole day and forced myself to finish it just because they are so pricey. Not sure what I am going to do with the rest. Definitely not taking them backpacking -pretty sure no one in my family will eat it. Sodium is pretty high, but so are with any jerky product so I don’t hold against that. I lost trust of the influencer promoting this product.

I'm very health conscious, working out three days a week, walking around 10k steps a day on average, counting calories, and carefully watching what I eat. But, I'm also a bit of a "foodie" and won't eat anything that doesn't taste good more than once no matter how beneficial it is for me. I've tried the Epic brand BBQ chicken, salt & pepper Beef, jalapeno beef, and Venison, along with this Sriracha one and it's by far the best. The macros and nutritional value are fantastic, but more importantly it tastes really, really good. In fact I'd argue these Sriracha chicken bars are the best taste to calorie tradeoff of any the dozens of protein bars I've tried across all brands and types while simultaneously sitting near the top of the pack in terms of flavor. The only downside is that they're ridiculously expensive. Nevertheless, I still buy them regularly. Their bone broth is terrific too, btw. This last purchase was my fourth order and there will be more coming in the future.

These taste good, but loaded with sodium. In the variety pack to have 700 plus milligrams of sodium and the others I think are around 550mg. I should have read the label 1st. I already take Baja Gold salt which is the best IMHO! I don't need low grade sodium in diet! I gave three stars because even though you can taste the sodium the flavor is really good my favorite is the Sriracha chicken but just so much sodium I can't continue.

I was really excited to try these but they are just too salty! The beef jalapeño is pretty good, the sriracha chicken is edible, the sea salt and pepper ones are just not edible. There’s a lot more sodium in these than most dried meats but I guess they have to compensate since this isnt exactly dried jerky. I like the texture of the product, the size was smaller than I expected but satisfying.
