This king size white duvet cover and shams from Hotel Sheets direct is made from 100% viscose ("bamboo derived viscose") and lacks the butter/silky softness typically found in 100% bamboo. In my opinion, it looks and feels more like a blend of linen and cotton. The ties inside the duvet cover are large and long which is great and the double zipper closure is good quality. The king size pillow shams are too large for standard king size pillows (looks sloppy) and it's a struggle to get them into the sham due to the design of the sham opening. Although it was not the plan, I am using the duvet cover as a flat sheet as it offers a thicker sheet feel during our winter months.

These were beautiful sheets.. at first. After the first wash everything changed. I bought them specifically for the cooling effect they are advertised to have. The cooling effect wasn’t even intended for me. 11 years later I’m still being karate chopped in the throat by sweaty stowaways who have learned how to expertly take over my bed in the dead of night. That being said.. I’ve never sweat so much ( with an air conditioner on ) in my life! It feels like these sheets suck the hell fire up out of the ground, and then just melt what’s left of your dignity, into these sheets. In spite of becoming a random piece of sushi in the middle of the night- the only thing these sheets wick away, are the chop chop masters that I was trying to keep cool. Call me crazy- but I miss waking up to squishy faces drooling all over my bed. Cheers to loosing a pound of body fluids a night 🥂 😓 🍣

These are by far the best bamboo sheets and duvet cover. I’ve tried. These are extremely soft and cooling. Even after you wash them. The price is also a fraction of some of the more expensive brands, which I think are far inferior to these. I have been looking for the best sheets for the last 10 years and I used to only shop cotton sheets which ran up to $400 for the duvet cover and sheets may be a little bit more than I discovered bamboo sheets, and these are so much better, they are also a fraction of the price. Also, don’t forget if you don’t have a good down comforter with at least 80% down or down Phil versus water fowl feathers it will not be as comfortable. Most people in the United states don’t know what a nice down comforter is supposed to feel like. They are very soft when you squeeze the comforter and doesn’t make a lot of noise unless it’s mostly water fowl feathers and very little down. I remember when I was a kid I thought it was weird how my friends had a horrible blanket and a sheet vs a duvet with a duvet cover. I digress.

I am one that will go to Macy’s and buy the hotel collection sheets she has they’re very expensive so I needed a duvet cover because of my little dog so I can just change it out wash it. I received this yesterday I put it on today ho lee goodness it so Flippin soft! I read somebody was complaining about the zipper not a big deal it’s not like you’re shoving a cardboard box into it. And then I read that somebody decided they no longer use a top sheet. I completely get it after filling this I think I’m going to order at least three or four more so I can use it as a sheet to because it is that soft
