I purchased this model for display purposes, it looks authentic and most of the crane is made from diecast metal and is heavy, It does have some shortcomings, The vertical sections when slipped together are too loose and cause the crane to lean forward towards the boom, I clamped the sections together straight and added a small amount of super glue at the connection points and the gussets at the base of the crane. It worked fine keeping it vertically straight. Overall, I’m happy with it.

Perfect desk toy for your office or anyone you know in the construction industry. Also could use for having a scale model of your site logistics.

Good presentation as a static model. Does not function well as a child's toy. The knobs that wind/unwind the string are too small. The string often does not wind/unwind properly. There is excessive play where the two tower pieces meet, and where they meet the base and horizontal structure, causing it to lean and wobble. The four thin plastic bars, designed to hold the base weights upright, unsnap from the tower with normal jostling by a child.
