Cute looking easy and fun game
The game arrived in perfect condition. So far, I have played it only once, solo, and while it was easy, I had a lot of fun. I already own the original Marvel United, but after playing it once, I didn’t enjoy it much because it felt too easy. This game is slightly more challenging and offers more interesting gameplay. The rules were very easy to learn, and it took almost no time to set up and start playing. Packing all the components away afterward was also very simple. I also planned to combine both games and store them in a single box, but it turned out to be a bit difficult. Once I added all the heroes and villains along with their cards in zip bags, the box would not close properly. It also seemed that finding a specific hero or villain during gameplay would take more time. In the end, I decided to store the games in separate boxes. I really like the miniatures and the artwork in this game. I will definitely play it more and plan to mix it with both villains and heroes from the original Marvel United.

Fun board game for both casuals and die-hard gamers!
I first played Marvel United with the original base game themed around the Avengers. And I liked it a lot. The gameplay is fast and fun, with each player taking on the role of a famous superhero as you fight against an evil supervillain. I'm a lifelong X-Men fan, so when I saw this version I knew I had to get it. And somehow, Spin Master Games has made the game even MORE fun. The heroes all feel unique (though Storm is my main!), and the miniatures are incredibly detailed. The heroes also feel a bit more distinct in this version than the original Avengers version, and the villains have some very fun and unique mechanics between the four options. The best part of this game is that it is VERY easy to learn, and I've taught many friends and family members how to play this. Any age can pick this game up and play it. But that doesn't mean the game is easy -- absolutely not. The game is surprisingly difficult. In a good way. There's an element of randomness to card draw and whatnot, but strategy is such an important aspect for Marvel United. You really have to work with your teammates or you'll end up defeated by the villain. It's such a blast to play with a group.

Big in Small
I bought this game for family game night, and thought the kids would like the X-Men theme. I was also hoping that it would be a good enough game that everyone would want to play more than once. My gamble certainly paid off. Everyone, including myself, loves playing this game, and it gets played a lot. There are nights when we will play it several times, which is very rare for family game night. This game is not only fun to play, the components are fantastic. The many cards are printed on a good quality card stock, and the miniature hero/villain figures really bring the theme to the forefront. This is a big game in a small box, and I'm so glad that I decided to buy it.

Engaging Board Game with Awesome Miniatures and Great Artwork
I recently purchased the Marvel United Board Game and have been thoroughly enjoying it. The game is fairly easy to pick up and play, but there are a lot of intricate details to keep track of for a more strategic experience. The X-Men version is superior to the Avengers version in my opinion, as it has more characters and game modes to choose from. The miniatures are fantastic and the artwork is top-notch. It is a cooperative game, which makes it easy to learn and play, although it may not be as deep as some other games. The expansions can provide a new challenge with different villains to take down, but they may not add much else to the game itself. Overall, the Marvel United Board Game is a solid choice for families, especially for Marvel fans.

Great family game
Bought this game sort of on a whim when it was on sale. I had heard a lot of strong reviews of the original and felt it would be a good one to try. It is a very solid game. The miniatures are awesome, the artwork is great, and it definitely can provide a good challenge as it is a cooperative game. Very easy to learn and play (at least with just the base set). That’s also a little bit of a detracting element for it. If you’re looking for a deep game, this is not it. There’s a lot of expansions that were released as Kickstarter exclusives, and we have seen at least one released commercially now from the original game, which is cross compatible. However, aside from the new challenge of figuring out how the villains work to take them down, I don’t believe they add anything new to the game itself. Still, a very solid game and a definite play for a family, especially for fans of Marvel.

Improvement from the last core box
This core box is fantastic. Total of 8 heroes, 4 villains, a new way to play up to 5 players, and the sculpts look amazing! This box has a slight difficulty spike from the last starter set, but it provides great variety. The game is easy to set up and only takes 25-40 minutes to play. The rules are easy enough that children can play, and the theme will keep adults engaged as well!

Very fun, much more difficult than Marvel United Classic!
Characters in this game have more abilities to combat villains and be more versatile, but villains are much stronger. Sabertooth is notably the strongest. You have to be very strategic going into this one. Wouldn’t recommend for much younger kids, but they may still have fun. Supervillain mode is cool and allows for one more player to join in! I worry it may make it even more challenging for heroes

Great Family Game
This is a great family cooperative game. At its core its just pattern matching with cards, which is good for kids. However with different villains there is some good strategy for adults. The X-Men versions of this game add more uniqueness to the hero cards making them feel more like their character than the original core set. Setup can be a little finicky and it is a table hog, and there might not be enough strategy for seasoned gamers Overall as a family game this is a great addition to Marvel Untied overall.

No debe faltar en tu ludoteca
Un exclusivo juego, muy bueno para principiantes y no depende mucho del idioma, las miniaturas son geniales y detalladas con estío chibi.

Best of the core boxes.
X-Men are the best. Anti-heroes means there's a lot more variety in this core box compared to the original. Nothing stops the Juggernaut!

Fantastic Gateway Game For Family And Friends
I bought both the original Marvel United and Marvel United: X-Men core boxes to play with my wife, who’s new to board games—and they didn’t disappoint. The rules are simple and easy to learn, yet there’s enough strategy to keep things engaging. We love how the game encourages teamwork and planning ahead, deciding which card to play based on what the next player needs. The X-Men theme really shines here. If you’ve seen the classic ‘90s cartoon or the movies, the characters will feel instantly familiar. The chibi art style and high-quality components make the game fun and approachable for all ages. Setup is quick, and even with just the core box, there’s great variety. One of my favorite things about Marvel United is its plug-and-play design. You can freely mix and match heroes, villains, and locations from any set, which adds incredible variety and replayability. This modular system makes each game feel fresh and lets you customize the experience to your group's preference. X-Men Core Box Highlights: 1. Includes 10 characters (2 of which can be played as heroes or villains—nice value!) 2. More variety and strategic depth in hero abilities 3. Villains introduce new mechanics that require more planning 4. Great challenge after playing through the original core box Original Core Box Highlights: 1. Characters are more familiar thanks to the MCU 2. Simpler hero abilities—ideal for total beginners 3. Villains are fun and beatable, but still satisfying Both boxes offer solid replayability, and the cross-compatibility between sets makes it easy to expand. Whether you’re new to board games or a seasoned gamer, Marvel United is a great pick for couples, families, or friends. Bonus Tip: Play some Marvel-themed music in the background (try Spotify’s Marvel United playlists) to boost the atmosphere!
