For everything you get, this is such a good deal. It's an all-inclusive kit to learn the basics of weaving (from the internet--there are countless instruction videos on YT, the best way to learn). You have everything needed to start exploring the process, I especially love the tapestry needle which is super smooth metal with nice weight and balance to glide through the warp. And these yarns are unusually nice. Seven substantial skeins of NICE chenille yarn, not the thin cheap stuff. These are really soft and more durable than the usual, and kids will love the colors. The milk cotton yarns can either be used for warp, or for weaving (the example photo shows both uses). The size of the loom is easy to manage anywhere, major portability and ease of handling even for little hands. And for such a great price, you can afford to leave your project on this loom and hang it as it is, or take it off the loom and hang it with the included bar. I'm impressed by what's included. This will be nonstop fun.

Had one workshop on weaving for beginners at the senior center. Project was on a handmade cardboard loom. Love this small weaving loom and with the bundle, it is a great value. The suggestion for more detail instruction on the internet is spot on. It was a great help that the loom was already warped.

I am having a blast with this low-tech crafter and this is the first hobby I have really enjoyed. Good for seniors; no stress to the eyes or hands. Recommend watching a few videos on You Tube first, to learn how to properly warp the yarn and begin weaving. Instructions included are okay but seeing the process is much better. I use this with and without the heddle bar to give different textures. The heddle can be tricky to put in place and string, but practice makes it easier.

This is so very easy to use. I had too update it to a large one. The quality is great ,fun to work with. Everything came with it .

Love this loom! Great for all levels if weavers! This one is better than a bigger, more expensive loom I have. Nice that it not only came put together but it was already warped!

I have another loom but decided to get this one as a back up. This one had a heddle which has slots on one side only, so when you turn it to lift row, the threads fall off and have to be replaced on. They're instructions refer to google and YouTube. When I look at those, their heddle bar is two sided. I want to return, but my husband tossed my Amazon box, so guess I will look for different heddle.

I bought this loom for myself as an inexpensive way to learn more about weaving. I had previously built a large PVC pipe loom as an experiment and although I completed a project it was clear that I need to learn the basics first. Let me say the good things first. The loom is well constructed and works well. It comes with two shuttles, a comb, the heddle bar, warp and weft threads, and instructions: seemingly everything one would need to complete a first very basic weaving project. The quality and the price are quite good, and based solely on the quality of the physical product I would give this item five stars. But there are a few oddities. First, the loom comes pre-warped without the heddle bar included in the warping. The instructions (a 5 by 8 inch piece of paper with tiny pictures and even smaller writing) say, "First thing you need to learn when you want to start your adventure with weaving is how to warp a loom." And then launches into an explanation, with pictures, of how that's done. Great. Except the first thing you have to do to get started with THIS loom is un-warp the silly thing so that you can warp it with the heddle included. For me that's just mildly annoying. For a child that would be very confusing. There is one critical item missing: a tapestry needle. Why would you sell a beginner's weaving kit with everything except a tapestry needle? It's not like including a tapestry needle would significantly increase the price. The instruction sheet even says, "for weaving, you will also need weft, (horizontal threads), shuttle sticks, and a tapestry needle. Why isn't there a tapestry needle? I'd be willing to bet that I'm not the only one who ordered this kit thinking he got everything needed, only to find out when unboxing that I'll have to order a tapestry needle. And, finally, the instructions are limited to warping the loom, adjusting the warp tension, and how the heddle bar works. There is a note on the instruction that instructs the user to search Google or YouTube for weaving instruction. I would expect at least a sponsored YouTube video from the manufacturer showing how to make the simplest project imaginable using what's provided in the kit. Overall, I think this loom will be a useful thing to have for learning the basics and even later for weaving small things. But as a beginner's loom for children, I would expect a bit more hand holding. And include a tapestry needle, for goodness sake!

This is sturdy and well made. I'm new to weaving and I'm really enjoying using this loom.
