Psychi Chalk Ball for Crossfit Gym Bouldering Rock Climbing Gymnastics Weightlifting Pole Dancing

I ordered this months before I switched to lifting straps for 190kg heavy (for me) Deadlift and it's enough to keep a hold with a mixed grip for reps, so it's as good as most other chalk in my experience, even if the mesh is a little flimsy. It also lasts ages- I used it every other day for months and only noticed a small difference in size, so top marks.A quick tip:Don't take it out of the bag- chalk is messy whatever you do with it, save some of that mess by keeping it in the plastic bag it comes in and dipping your hands in whenever you need.No problems, good value end product.

I've recently been obsessed with captains of crush grippers. I started off with no chalk and found that they tend to slip out of position before I get to maximum effort. The chalk makes so much difference it is amazing... I put a small amount on my hands and the grippers don't slip at all. With the harder though grippers, it is so grippy that they can pull the skin off your hands before slipping. I now have manly hands full of calluses :D I also like that the chalk is supplied inside a bag so that it doesn't go absolutely everywhere which is great because I can also use it at the gym without the staff or other members complaining about the mess.

1) The ball doesn't dispense enough chalk on your hands, even after a few squeezes.2) What's worse is that the ball fell apart after only 1 session!3) The chalk feels pretty low quality, it doesn't dry/improve hand grip as good as others.I'll go back to buying the more expensive chalk at the climbing centre for now. It's cheap for a reason folks, it's rubbish!

I bought these as some of the exercise bars at work are smooth and I lose my grip if I'm sweating or lifting heavy. These chalk balls are actually powdered chalk sealed in a permeable netting which allows the chalk to penetrate through onto the hand. Its a really good idea and keeps the chalk intact and contained while allowing it to be rubbed/ patted on the hand to allow the chalk onto the hand.These are so good, I bought additional so I have them at work overseas and at home. When not in use, I keep them in a plastic bag as a very small dusting of the chalk powder can fall out but its not an issue to be concerned about.Great idea, works well and would definitely recommend.

I do weight lifting as well and Climbing, for weightlifting the ball provides nice level of chalk to help grip weights. However, when climbing, I found by the time I would get past a few holds the chalk was practically gone.I could get more out by wrestling with the ball for a while, however, this is only possible at the start of a climb, maybe if you use it in a Chalk bag (I don't have one at the mo) you might be able to get more coverage.I would highly suggest keeping the ball in its original packaging if you don't have a Chalk bag for it, over time the chalk in the bag builds up which helps with getting a good coating, also stops too much mess.Overall I am happy with the product for what I bought it for, might invest in something else for climbing going forwards.

I do rather like reaching into my bag, getting my hands around these chalky balls and getting all covered in white stuff.

Does exactly what it meant to at an unbeatable price.I use it for weight lifting and keep it always in a "Chalk Bag", even ass I powder my hands. It leaves no traces of powder, apart of the chalk remaining on the barbells off my hands, which can easily be swept off.I find it the least messy chalk option after the liquid chalk which is not as comfortable for my hands as the powder.It comes in a resealable plastic bag, but I found the Chalk Bag more comfy to put my hand in and powder it with the ball, and looks way better.Very happy, and I defiantly recommend it.

I purchased this chalk for my daughter who has a gymnastics bar in the garden, her friend recommended this and we love it, easy to use and doesn’t spread everywhere I would say it’s clear than the liquid chalk which we was using previously, comes off easily with water.
