Code Red Tango Jr. 3.5 Budget-Friendly Covert Tactical Earpiece for Radios with 3.5mm Auxiliary Port

My employer had provided me with a different brand previously. It had decent sound quality, but not quite enough volume. And then it just quit working after two months (it was brand new when given to me). After doing a little research, I decided to order the Code Red Tango Jr. on my own to see if it might be better. I have been very pleased with it so far. It has excellent sound quality/clarity, and adequate volume. I can't speak to it's durability yet, as I have only been using it for about three weeks. But I am optimistic about it's construction quality. Also, it came with instructions that said to plug the earpiece into the radio/device before turning it on. The other brand had no instructions with it, and perhaps plugging it in with the radio already on contributed to it's early failure?UPDATE 4/7/2019I've used it every work day for 1 & 3/4 years now. It's still going strong, and no problems!!!UPDATE 9/10/2020I'm pleased to report this earpiece gave me 3 year and 3 months of excellent service before finally going kaput! And I suspect that it would still be going strong except that due to a different contstruction design on new uniform shirts a few months ago, I have had a difficult time getting the plug snaked through the narrower channel to reach the earphone jack. I suspect that may have stressed the wire connections at the plug. I am about to order the exact same unit!

I thought I was buying a decent ear piece for my Motorola radio. This thing lasted for only 2 hours before the internal speaker blew and the sound was extremely muddy, not clear, muffled. I use a Motorola Apx 6000, not sure how the speaker on it already blew ? But it’s junk, used for police work.

Been using it for a few weeks now and no complaints, before that I got one for 8 dollars that broke within 2 weeks :/ you get what you paid for and this product has a year warranty without even paying extra!I'll keep this review updated when something happened

Works as it should. Very comfortable in the ear. Has decent sound quality. A trusted brand.

Good clear audio quality. I wish they made a petite version as the loop doesn’t sit on my ear correctly and therefore doesn’t always stay in my ear. Much more comfortable than others I have tried tho.

So far, so good. I've used it about 5 times (9 hours each).

Works great! Consider purchasing a comfort fit ear mold for more external clarity.
