I don’t know why I waited so long for one of these. The mandolin is amazing, nice even slices every time. I have been on a cucumber binge. Changing out blades is easy once you recognize how much pressure you need, and cleaning is much easier than I anticipated. Chopped potatoes? And quick easy salad? So easy. And it’s fun.

Very nice and very easy to use. Makes dicing onions sooo much easier! Be CAREFUL!!! The blades on it are SHARP!!! I was cleaning it, and using a veggie brush to clean the blades, (for safety reasons to keep my hands Away from the sharp blades), but my fingers slipped and one touched one of the blades. OUCH!!! Lesson learned ... Next time I'll wear gloves to clean it!

I have always wanted to try one of these but just never wanted to add yet another item to my kitchen when a knife can do the same thing. However, my old mandolin was starting to be a little too wonky and I had always hated that it barely had any protection for my hands. I decided to upgrade. I bought this because it was on a big sale for Cyber Monday (or some holiday sale). It had the mandolin feature and the chopping feature that I really wanted. I doubt I'll ever use the garlic grater or egg separator but that's okay. I washed it and used it right away to chop some onions. I hate chopping onions because of the burning eyes. And I never feel like I can get the pieces to be very uniform in size or shape. I cut the onion into pieces that were small enough to fit in the device and used the bigger size chopping piece. It worked perfectly! But since there were no instructions and I'm an impulsive idiot sometimes, I tried to remove the chopping plate and couldn't get it out. I put my thumb on the metal part to get leverage and immediately cut the crap out of my thumb. Sooooo sharp. Duh. Of course it is sharp. The plates are not easy to get out. Be very careful. You just have to pull and pull and hope it finally pops out. Do not touch the metal. Be better than me! A little release lever or something would make this much safer. The green piece that is on the lid is ever harder to remove but at least it isn't sharp. It only needs to be removed if using the garlic grater or mandolin features. That's caveat #1. Caveat #2 is that the small piece chopping plate is only about 50% usable. I used it yesterday to chop veggies for a soup. I wanted small pieces because my boyfriend doesn't like big chunks of things in his soup. I tried chopping onions, red bell peppers, carrots and celery with the small piece plate. ALL of them got stuck to it. The peppers were the worst because the skin of the pepper would just flatten out on the plate and not actually chop. The carrots chopped the easiest because they don't really have a skin. The celery is just too fibrous so even though it chopped, it stuck to the underside of the plate. I had to scrape everything off the super sharp plate with a sharp knife. Not exactly safe or easy and convenient. The problem seems to be that the little pokey pieces on the top green part aren't actually long enough to go all the way through the chopping plate holes. So that flaw combined with the very small holes just means that there isn't a way for things to not get stuck. I will likely stick to the bigger chop plate unless making soup and then I'll just deal with scraping off tiny pieces for a smoother soup. Caveat #3 is that there isn't a way to lock the top piece onto the tray that catches the pieces so it moves around quite a bit while chopping. If it snapped on or had a little lever/clip it would be so much better. Overall, I'm happy with it and all the little issues I'm having are going to be less annoying over time. I'm sure the plates will loosen up and be easier to remove. I might add my own little lever or velcro piece to the lid to keep it in place better. We'll see. I've used it several times already and the time and effort it saves me makes up for the issues I've faced.

This is easy to use and makes chopping so quick! Everything packs together nicely for storage. Be careful when cleaning, those blades are sharp!

This food chopper is amazing. I had one from my dad years ago. Except, it only had one size square dicer. My husband bought me this. I have used it to dice anything and everything. It's performance is great. I prefer the dicer (as I mentioned I use a lot) the blades are very sharp. Cut through apples with ease. Even with all the extra parts, it's not heavy. I would say, I do not like the way the lid sits on the container. Thr older ones hooked on, on pegs almost. You could pick it up without it falling off. Unfortunately, this just sets on there. So you can not pick it up without the lid coming off. I can only assume it's made of good quality plastic and metal. We will see how long it holds up. The attachments do snap/click into place. And they can be hard to snap/click out and into place. My concern with that is the tabs potentially weakening and breaking off. Other then that. I believe this produce will do great justice and money will be well spent. Pros- all the attachments. The basket it comes with for inside the container. Cons- lid doesn't snap on container.

Bought this for just the ease of making salads with different veggies. Grating cheese is a bit of a feat in its own. I find trouble keeping the cheese from just breaking off entirely before getting sliced. The grater pieces and the slicer are easy to take off but to clean them... a whole other story. Quality is what you get!

Well i finally used my chopper this morning to make home fries for breakfast. I was surprised it held up.....I was a little concerned at first , but I chopped, sweet potatoes, and regular potatoes, and onions.....and it survived. It's a little flimsy, but it did the job. I have not tried the slicer part yet, but I think it should be good.

I am very satisfied with this vegetable chopper. The quality of the plastic and blades is strong and durable. It cuts onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, and even potatoes very quickly and evenly. The different blade options are very useful for slicing, dicing, and grating. The container box is spacious and keeps everything clean without making a mess in the kitchen. It also saves a lot of time during cooking. Cleaning is easy, and all parts can be washed quickly. Very good value for money. Highly recommended for every kitchen!

Las piezas que son para rebanar son de diferente tamaño y no pueden ensamblar bien, es dificil de usar la verdad porque si presionas fuerte puedes cortar el plastico ya que no es muy preciso al momento de cortar
