Had these for a year now. I use the timer feature each night. Goes only about 4-5nights at full brightness and then they dim drastically. They’ll last for weeks at that low dim light, but it’s basically useless. I’ve tried rechargeable batteries and expensive premium batteries. Finally throwing in the towel and getting corded lamps to replace these.

I’ve had these lamps for a few years. Right from the start, I was sorry I bought them. The batteries on timer only last about 5 days and then all you see is the line of light inside the bulb which sheds no light at all. They are very expensive for what you get and add the cost of batteries to that, not a good deal at all.

Even using the timer function, I was replacing batteries every two weeks. Then, one day, even with a battery replacement it stopped working. It seemed to be the light had burnt out. I bought the exact replacement bulbs, but they didn’t work. New batteries, new bulb, nothing. So annoying.

Very nice design which is what drew my attentionto this item. However, the wood on the base feelsmore like cork which makes it very light weight.

I wanted a couple of simple lights for the kitchen so that when moving from the lounge or singing room at night there was enough light to see by without having to find the main switch - and these do the job perfectlyReally attractive to look at, I think they would blend in with most styles of decor, and their reflective inner surface gives a decent amount of light - having a timer option is fabulous and really useful. being battery operated I know these will gradually run 'down' and need replacing but they have been on every night for a fortnight at the moment and no signs of it yet, which is pretty good as the ones I had a few years ago barely made it three days without needing new batteriesAll in all, extremely happy with this purchase
