Set Contains: 1 x Everbuild EVB125C3 One Hour Caulk 125 White 300ml Review: I purchased this caulk for some general house hold cosmetic touch ups before decorating. The price at the time of purchase was very competitive for a known brand. No higher in price than a lower end quality caulk from national DIY/trade counters. It's a nice bright shade and very easily applied. The texture on application is faultless, very smooth and remains malleable for cosmetic touch ups for a fair while after application. That said the product is pretty much set within an hour so fast curing times on projects where time is important. For best application I would recommend cutting the nozzle at about a 45 degree angle and cut to a thickness consistent with the area of coverage. I dare say less is more as there can be a lot of wastage when smoothing. Once applied to your area, mix some water and washing up liquid in a spray bottle. Then spray the affected area and gently rub off the excess and smooth into the final position. The spray will stop the excess going all over the work surfaces. For best result I'd suggest a mastic forming tool but failing that a clean finger is fine. Having worked in the construction industry my working career, I'm pleasantly surprised with this and happy to recommend. Review: Good caulk easy to use and finish would recommend this product

This is my first time using caulk always leaving this kind of thing to the experts in the past. But encouraged by the reviews here, especially over the simplicity and positive results I thought I'd try it myself. I ordered a pack of three: all arrived in one package delivered in good time and no damage. The instructions are on the side of the tube (talking of tube, YouTube will be of some use if - like me - you're still a little unsure about how to apply and finish). I wanted to fill a few gaps between my skirting boards and walls - some gaps were about 4 or 5 mm wide, so I packed them first with some old cardboard. Snipped off the nozzle at 45 degrees, popped it onto my metal gun and starting applying. It's best to put down some masking tape first in case you don't have a steady hand. Also make sure you have a damp rag to hand too, in order to wipe up the excess. Make sure you have a smooth trigger action because if you stop and pause the slump will stool ooze out along your trail. So do a couple of practice runs beforehand. I used a wet finger to smooth down the trail and used the rag to mop up. Once satisfied I slowly removed the masking tape (don't leave this on too long as it may stick to the caulk, and when you do eventually remove the tape there's a good chance you'll take the caulk with it!) Overall I was impressed with the flow and adhesive qualities. It dries after an hour or two, but I would advise waiting a good 12-18 hours to on the safe side if you intend to smooth down or paint over. The gaps I had to fill (between 2 and 5mm) finished really well too. So I have ordered 3 more tubes to finish off some other projects. I would definitely recommend this product, especially at such a good price.

This caulk is excellent, dries quickly and supplied at a good price. It does not match Dulux Super Brilliant White one coat wonder paint exactly, nothing's perfect - but if you want to have a laugh read some of the other one star reviews - my favourite is the bead of caulk that must have been put on without the applicator nozzle, a centimetre thick and someone wonders why it slumps and has not set three days later. And if you really want to "crack up" search for the one that is surprised that they can't actually fix a cracked sink with it.
