Kobalt 80-Volt Max Baretool 16-in Straight Cordless String Trimmer 2nd Generation (Battery Not Included)

This is exactly what I needed. I already had the kobalt 80v blower (which works great!). I can use the same battery in this weed eater. I was amazed at how it easily cut and trimmed weeds. As for battery life, I used the weed eater for 20 minutes and blower for 5 minutes and it still had 1 light on the battery left. A lot quieter than the gas one I had. 45 minutes to fully recharge the battery.

Works with my existing 80v kobalt set

I ordered the 80 amp trimmer because I had an 80 amp chain saw by Kobalt. The trimmer works great, and it is so nice not to have to use gasoline. The charge only took about 30 minutes and never dropped below two lights for doing the whole yard. It is a little heavier than my wife would like, so I do the trimming. But the counter balance is good enough to not wear me out. They do offer a shoulder strap as an accessory, but does not come with the trimmer. There is a connection for the strap on the trimmer though.

It is easy to use and assemble. This is the 2nd Kobalt 80 volt weedeater I have owned. What I don't like is there is more vibration with this particular weedeater. If the spool is not LOADED PERFECTLY, it will not feed line.

This has great power and works amazing!! I prefer to do any lawn care with battery and this does not disappoint!! It is light and not awkward to carry or operate. I highly recommend it!
