Men's Trekking High Rise Hiking Shoes

Perfect disc golf shoe, for advanced level players. These shoes are terrific! They aren't quite as comfortable as the regular wildfire but the slightly stiffer feel is a small price to pay for exceptional waterproofing. Great design, with an amazing feel! These shoes are meant for performance and fit like a glove. if you're wanting something for true athletic performance buy your regular size. If you're thinking of buying a size up for comfort then you most likely don't need these shoes. They are meant for backcountry hiking which I cannot speak too. I use them for disc golf and they are by far the best shoes I have ever worn while playing a round. Over the years I have gone through multiple high end hiking shoes from all of the top brands and Salewa wildfire are hands down the best, no real comparison. Heavy duty toe caps and soles that are designed with a built in slide guard. It's hard to believe that these shoes weren't specifically designed for disc golf. Despite my high praise, I would not recommend these shoes to intermediate level players or lower. Even with the built in features I would stick with cheaper shoes until you have gotten past the dreaded toe drag stage. No shoe can stand up to repeated toe drag, however the second you feel confident in your follow through buy these shoes!!! I have only played 15-20 rounds in them so I can't speak to durability yet, will update later if they fall apart, which I highly doubt that they will with their built in steel suspension system! Oh yeah, they have a built in steel suspension system, coolest thing ever. How is that not the first thing mentioned in the item description?

I went on vacation to Japan recently and a friend who had gone recently told me that the most important thing was to have comfortable walking shoes. I bought these to replace my old Salomon hiking shoes. I can tell you that these shoes were amazing! I walked an average of five miles a day for a week over all types of terrain and my feet did not get tired or sore. The rest of my body did but I didn't have issues like I had on previous vacations that required a lot of walking. Now that I'm back home, I'm back to my normal routine. I do hiking on trails and then also do sports photography so, I have to be able to move quickly and surely in muddy conditions. They've worked well there too. I've gotten them muddy and wet and I've never felt discomfort. Plus, they look really cool.

The shoes are extremely comfortable and light. They are warm and waterproof. I used them to walk around the city and even though I love them, after 2 months the inner side is torn and broken. I am returning them but will definitely buy again the same model: I hope this was a defective batch of production. I own many articles from Salewa -including mountaineering backpacks and clothing that I had for decades- and quality is usually excellent.

This is the most comfortable hiking shoe I've ever owned. They are light, breathe well, have decent arch support, and excellent traction. I'd argue the traction is almost too good, as I routinely trip on tree branches or rocks if I drag my feet. My other minor complaint is that the outsole tends to separate at the toe, where it's glued to the toe. This is my second pair that has done this. In short, while these aren't the most durable shoe, they are joy to take on the trail.

Very comfortable to wear and they really look great. I bought these for moderate trail hiking and needed them to have good traction on the sole which these have. I'll also use them for biking and now find myself wearing them for general use. My only modification will be to replace with thicker laces as the ones they come with are very thin. Tip: If you're between sizes depending on the shoe, go with a half size larger.

The product is great. The shoe just didn’t fit. However, Amazon should note that this is coming from an international seller so there is no return drop off AND it is up to the consumer to ship the item back overseas. I have done this , but 6 weeks later I am nowhere and with nowhere to to go. Just awful. If you buy, better fit

These run small... ordered 12 and need 12.5. But they want me to ship them back to Germany to exchange and will refund up to 20.00 in shipping cost. To Germany, really?

My husband loves this brand and he owns 2 other pairs. For fathers day i bought these for him and he was happy and wore them right away and they fit and felt great at first. However the inner part fabric is falling apart after few wears and couldn’t return them. Other than that great looking shoes

Excelentes tenis, el costo-beneficio se hace presente en estos tenis. Yo los compré para el gimnasio y me párese que son unos tenis que cumplen perfectamente con mis necesidades. Cabe aclarar que no son tenis que yo usaría para hakking o trekking porque me parece (solo es percepción) que el material no resistiría mucho, aunque para empezar no están mal. Sí estás empezando, te los recomiendo, si buscas algo más resistente, me parece que debes invertir algo más. Según mis criterios los calificaría de la siguiente manera. Comodidad: 8/10 Materiales: 8/10 Diseño: 10/10 Durabilidad para uso moderado: 8/10 Durabilidad para Trekking: 6/10 Eso sí, están bonitos.

Taillent correctement. Très confortables et respirent la qualité. Bonne accroche et imperméables, et remplissent leur fonction sans être lourdes. On peut envisager de bonnes balades même escarpées. Scarpe comodissime anche per me che ho pianta larga, collo alto del piede ed alluce valgo. Sono molto leggere in termi di peso ma anche di protezione. Non ideali per tracking impegnativo o uso invernale. Come scarpe da passeggio sono il massimo!

Excellent quality shoes, I can walk all day and night in them. The 100% blister free statement is absolutely true. Just don't expect them to hold up at all in wet or sandy conditions. They're what the name says: trail running on dry trails. I hiked in them in the desert and although extremely comfortable and grippy, the breathability makes them porous, by the end of the day I had some fine sand inside them but I am still giving 5 stars because the quality is perfect and I know it's my fault for wearing them and not my high boots in the sand. Nothing negative because now I know exactly when and where to use them. Very cool dark green color as well, different from other typical colors.
