Happy Places reviving the Shopkins fun
My kids have collected Shopkins from season 2 to season 5, and just as the craze and cuteness felt like it was petering out, Shopkins launched Happy Places. I originally thought that this line extension was moving away from what made Shopkins fun and original, and initially didn't really look to buy any. After buying some blind packs (which contained 3 mini objects), we were hooked again. We bought the playset and different sets. This is a cute set that one of my daughters saw and wanted. Like all the other playsets and blind packs, it contains household items (in this case, items for a bedroom and slumber party play). We have a few of these decorator sets so far and will be interesting to see how much more Happy Places can go.

Coordinates nicely with the Welcome Pack
Super-cute set of Petkins. The dressing table and night stand really work well in the room even if you have the Dreamy Bear Welcome Pack already set up in there. If you are choosing between this set and the Welcome Pack, get the Welcome Pack because this set does NOT come with a bed (a must-have for a bedroom). However, the pieces are all very versatile and could also be used in other rooms such as the Parlor or the Slumber Party room, or in a second bedroom (which you could build using the bonus tiles).

Excellent, but contains the smallest shopkin ever
Exactly like the picture. It has one accessory that is super tiny, so careful opening it! We lost it within minutes so use scissors to get through the plastic backing instead of pushing them out, and careful if you have littler ones, if they find it and put it on their mouth out will get accidentally eaten

This extra pack was cute and had 3 suprise ones. It was cute and actually better than the one with the doll.

Good for Hiding!
A fun set of Shopkins. It's an older set and was purchased at a reduced price accordingly. I plan to open the pack and hide the individual toys, each in separate plastic Easter eggs for this year's Egg Hunt. My kids will be super excited to find them and they are a lot healthier than candy.

Soooo cute!
So adorably cute and a great buy for the money I payed. I know my 4-5 year old grand-daughter is going to love it!

Meh..
These are great for the shopkin obsessor. It's just another collectible to spend (throw away) money. I mean, they are cute and stuff, but honestly not very happy with this series. They are more like carpet bombs (think legos) and are very basic looking. Compared to the regular shopkins series that have bright colors, different shapes, etc. these just don't really stand out.
