Q: Does this seem way overpriced?

Based on the "Real World" reviews and reports from users,..YES this is way overpriced due to the myriad of issues with the quality of the machine all happening within the first 3 months of using this. BEWARE!!! Wait until the next generation comes out. There are calibration issues, cable fraying issues, footplate padding issues, stability issues when using with a bench.....etc.

The battery is rechargeable. With a regular 3-4 x use per week the battery should last at least two months.
