Great for first round of brass instrument buffing before white and then red rouge
This brown Tripoli buffing compound worked great for my first ever attempt at buffing. I used it with 8-inch wheels on my old bench grinder for the first pass on a vintage Getzen field trumpet that I'm restoring. This removed stray solder and most of the scratches after I removed a few dents. I followed it up by buffing with white and then red rouge and the bugle looks fantastic!
