I am so impressed by this kit! I had a tear in my nail very close to the flesh and about 1/3 the way across the nail - you can see the discolored edge in the first repair photo. I was devastated because I've been trying to grow out my nails and I want them to be even! I have done my own gel nails for over 10 years but never tried dips - this was so easy to use! Apply alcohol, dry, apply glue, dip in powder, dry, dust off excess, file away bumps and you're good! Since this was my index finger, I repeated the process 3 times total, applied to the whole nail, and the repair seems very solid. I think dusting away the excess powder and smoothing in-between layers will help keep bumps away. I applied my gel polish on top and it looks completely natural and smooth! I'm not sure how long it will last yet, or if the gel will have trouble staying bonded, but I'm optimistic so far. I highly recommend this kit if you repair your nails at home. It is way better than bandaids, and if it works while the nail grows out it's much better than cutting it all off!

I wanted to grow out my nails as I had a lot of functions in May. But I have a thumbnail that breaks halfway up the nail, due to a previous injury. So I bought this kit, knowing I would need it. I had never fixed any of my nails in the past, so was a novice when I needed to use it, a couple weeks after it arrived. I found it super easy to use! It came with step by step instructions, as well as a link to a video tutorial. Only issue I had was that one item in the kit was damaged, but not bad enough to make it unusable. So after fixing my thumbnail, I wrote them an email. They responded same day and replaced the damaged piece immediately. It was in my possession within three days of my email! So for the kit: A+. Very easy to use and blends well with my natural nails. I’ve used this kit now, 4 times. The photo above of my hand has two other nails that have been fixed aside from my thumb (so three total). So, as you can see, it works REALLY well and hide your nail breaks to blend in with your other nails (even for a novice). Customer service: A++! You can tell they take pride in their product and want to make sure your kit is perfect! I will definitely be buying again!

My middle fingernail has a vertical groove from nail bed to the tip, and it splits once it gets beyond where the nail is attached to the end of the finger. What I like is that this product has prevented my nail from getting split further. It's very strong. I like the value for the money. If I were to purchase fake nails, it would be much more costly. I usually get 10 days out of it. The picture shows the nail with dip powder alone after about 9 days. Sometimes I'll use clear polish on all my nails, which makes the dipped nail blend in a little better. As you can see, it's starting to get loose at the bottom edge and my nail has grown out some. Removal is not quick and easy. It works best to scuff the dipped nail, then soak a cotton ball with acetone polish remover, put your hand in a plastic bag with the cotton on the nail, and place your finger tips in a bowl of hot water for a few minutes.

This stuff works good but takes time to get it right, the bottle was only part way filled but needed it so kept it anyhow! the buffer sponge doesn't last long at all and found it awkward to use on my right hand and doesn't work to well! it last like 3-4 days and then need to do it again, got it to fill a crack I've had for yrs that can't grow out as it goes from tip toward cuticle! you get lots of the powder but not enough of the brush on stuff but maybe I got a defective one!

This is all you need for any broken natural nail. I tore my nail halfway across and boy it held!! It is like an overlay when it is finished. Greatest idea since sliced bread. Easy to use, just follow the directions. I am a manicurist from back in the day: 1980's. This is a quality product. It buffed out so clear you couldn't tell it from the others, and when it is polished...

Like another reviewer, I have a medical condition that causes vertical ridges on a few of my nails that make it highly prone to splitting. I have one nail that I haven’t been able to grow past the tip of my finger for over 4 YEARS now and the split has been getting worse this year running down into the nail bed. This resin glue has saved my nail! I wished I’d found it sooner. The instructions were easy to follow and it works! It left a cloudy white color over my nail. I’m not sure if I needed to buff it more to get rid of that but I don’t mind it. I have a strong nail again, no more snagging. I can finally grow out my nail past the split. I’m very satisfied!

The indication this product gives is that it will fix your broken nail...for good! That indication is WRONG! What this WILL do is glue your nail together using nail glue, and your nail will still break in about a week or so. For anyone who does not know, nail glue is extremely damaging to your natural nail. It weakens nails to the point of making them BECOME thin and brittle; the exact things that this product claims it prevents! What you will end up with is a problem bigger than the split nail that you started with! Please, do not do this to your nails! Instead, search Amazon for "Nail-aid Keratin 3 day growth polish" and "Hard As Hoof nail cream". Use these two products together and what you will end up with are strong nails that are hard, do not flake, do not split, and grow! I used this nail "repair" product and my nails absolutely suffered! On the bright side, I used the keratin polish and the cream that I mentioned and in a month or so, my nails are better than I have ever seen them, and I do not even use either of those products as often as directed. Trust me, you will ruin your nails with this "repair" product. Do not do it.
