Taste is a little less flavorful than other brands but it's clean ingredients and not those dyes and artificial flavors which are super bad for you. taste is still pretty good especially if you use with milk and i love that its clean ingredients.

Was taking another kind of whey protein (a popular brand at that) when I finally decided to look at the ingredients and that’s how I came to search for a better product. The old whey protein had too many “gums” and when I found this one I was very impressed. 3 ingredients and the strawberry is legit raw strawberry flavor. No bloating even after doubling the dose and the funny part is that I didn’t even know I was suffering from bloating when taking the older companies protein ( again gums like guar gums are horrendous and it was the last in my diet). As far as blending is concerned I use a shaker bottle that doesn’t use a ball shaker inside “vortex” style and it blended in perfectly and that’s with added 5g of monohydrate creatine with 16oz water. *UPDATE * My second purchase was Vanilla and was very disappointed not in flavor but in THEIR transparency. Their whole thing is transparency and if you look at the ingredients in the pictures which I did not prior to vanilla purchase they don’t even list VANILLA as an ingredient they use the term *Natural Flavors* which tends to always mean it is a concoction of really bad ingredients. Look at it this way since their whole thing is transparency why do they not just list the ingredients that make the “Natural Flavors” I will not be repurchasing vanilla but I will stick to the strawberry as that one does tell you all the ingredients and not “Natural Flavors “. Great tasting product!

I originally purchased this because I love the Naked Vanilla Whey Isolate protein powder and wanted an alternate flavor to have. Plus, the clean ingredient list and the price being cheaper than the whey isolate products were attractive. The strawberry flavor here is weak after blending with 2% milk. I tried making a smoothie instead with 2 scoops of protein powder, half a banana, frozen strawberries and 1 cup of milk. However the taste was still pretty bland. I like that there aren’t a ton of artificial ingredients in this protein powder, so it’s pretty clean, but this is one that can definitely use more sugar or sweetener—although not sure if adding more sweetener will help. The protein powder tastes bland and chalky. I will continue using it until I go through the entire container since I’ve already used 2 servings of it, but I definitely will not repurchase. I regret not checking the reviews for this flavor ahead of time, because the comments on taste are pretty accurate. Giving this 4 stars because the ingredients are clean, the powder mixes well in a blender, the protein content is decent, calorie content is reasonable, the container capacity is also reasonable, but taking 1 star off for taste/lack of flavor.

"Man, I wish there was a protein drink out there that doesn't have all the BS. No carageenan or guar gum or artificial sweeteners or flavors. Give me sugar, I can handle a couple of extra calories," I said between swigs of some awful slop shake, standing in the gym parking lot late at night, smoking a cigarette with my gym buddy (cigarettes raise testosterone, testosterone is essential for recovery, a recovery cigarette) (don't smoke, kids). "Yeah," he replied in typical eloquent and verbose fashion. Wnen I got home, I logged my computer onto Amazon dotcom and searched. And searched. And searched. I was looking for a whey protein that accepted the fact that it is FOOD, not a "nutritional supplement." Food ingredients, good taste without being hyperpalatable so I don't crave it (I am a fatboi). Then, among the rows and rows of protein powders overflowing with stuff I can't pronounce, was Naked Whey. Oh look, the stawberry only has three ingedients, one of which is strawberries. Jackpot! This is the protein drink of my dreams. It tastes great, not too sweet, natural strawberry flavor (from, you know, the dried, ground stawberries), makes me look more handsome when I'm carrying the jar, etc. There's no leichins or binders, but it mixes well anyway. It has coconut sugar. Why does it have coconut sugar instead of cane sugar? No clue, but you know what? It dissolves well and tastes good, so I'm not questioning it. Coconuts to that. No gut issues, but I never had any from whey. It doesn't really leave me feeling satiated, so I throw so psyllium husks in my shaker bottle and they make it a meal. Bravo, Naked, now put some clothes on.

It's the healthiest option I've come across in protein powders, but unfortunately it's so void of flavor that I was going to throw it out. I ended up mixing a serving of the powder (2 scoops) with just 1 tablespoon of Nesquik strawberry powder and it was an absolute game changer. It went from being a protein drink that I had to will myself to swallow, to a protein drink that tasted terrific and one that I looked forward to. Sure it's 6 grams of sugar that is being added to the drink, but for me personally it's worth it as a way to get more protein into my diet. I just don't use sugar in my coffee on the days I make this protein drink so I can enjoy an absolutely delicious protein drink guilt-free. I was going to give it two stars due to lack of palatable flavor, but decided on 3 because I do appreciate the fact it's one of the cleaner and overall healthier protein powders out there, mixes well in the blender and is easy to digest.

Best Whey Powder I’ve ever had. Mixed with water it’s a bit boring taste but in milk it’s so good. The lack of all the other inflammation causing ingredients the big brands use is the biggest benefit, and thank god no stevia or sucralos People complaining about the amount of product in the jar have obviously never bought whey powder before, this is how they all come, look at the servings count before the package size.

The best protein I have ever had. Yes, it’s on the pricey side but other proteins were so hard to get down for me and gave me stomach issues/ bathroom urgency after I drank them so I eventually stopped. I got this recently and it tastes amazing (strawberry flavour) and have had no stomach issues. Probably because of the clean ingredients. I put 2 scoops of this with frozen fruit, a bit of yogurt and water in a blender and it tastes like you got it for $15 from a smoothie place. Will forever repurchase.

Terrible taste. It's a finer powder than most other whey protein such as Diesel, and it's nice that they post their heavy metal testing label on their website, but the flavor for the strawberry is terrible. It smells akin to a room that houses a hamster or guinea pig. I'm trying to drink it, but it's HORRIBLE. Really upset as I purchased 5 lbs of it and wasted CAD$144 on it. I'll be sticking with Diesel Whey Protein as they actually taste like a yummy treat and doesn't feel like a chore to drink it. It has good mixability in cold filtered (Brita) water.

Wow what a huge jar, nice and big to store stuff in after the powder is gone, and it tastes good too, not like some other protein powders...
