A really nice helmet for the price - runs a bit small but better after it breaks in
This is a pretty nice helmet! I had been wearing a cheaper Triangle helmet for years, and following the general 5-year rule I decided it was time to replace. I'm glad I did! The pads in this one are much more substantial, and the shell feels sturdier while only being slightly heavier. It did feel pretty tight putting it on the first time, but after the pads have broken in a bit, it's gotten more comfortable. Just be aware that it'll probably feel a bit small if you're coming from a helmet you've been wearing for a while. I appreciate the addition of the free tinted visor, and while I generally prefer to wear prescription sunglasses under a visor instead, it's a nice option to have if I ever want to swap it out. I like the color a lot too - it seems like the vast majority of helmets are solid black or white, or an extremely ugly pattern of some kind. I like the simple matte olive green since it looks nice without cooking your head under the hot sun like my old black helmet did. The ventilation is good - it keeps your head cooler on warm days with the vents in the top and chin. They aren't the best and you're still going to get more effective ventilation by cracking your visor, but they do help. The vents are also styled in a nice subtle way that don't make it look like you're trying really hard to look like you're from the future like a lot of the other cheaper ones. My biggest complaint is that the ear padding is really thick, and it's hard to keep earbuds in if you're wearing them while you ride. I have to cram my hands into either side to reposition them into my ears before I ride, which adds a solid 90 seconds of fiddling with the helmet every time before I get on. Another minor complaint is the nose redirection thing to keep your breath from fogging up the visor. If you have a schnoz like me, it's going to hurt whenever you put the helmet on. Thankfully, it's easy enough to pop out though. Overall, this is a really solid helmet! It's on the higher end of the cheap no-name helmets, and I'm glad I sprung for the better quality one this time. I have a hard time justifying an expensive new one every 5 years, but a quality helmet at a good price point like this one encourages me to actually swap it out when I'm supposed to. Update after 4 months of near-daily wear: the biggest issue I have noticed with this helmet is the visor. The screw on the left side (while wearing it) has a tendency to come loose every couple of months and needs tightened. It's only popped out once on me, but it's a mild annoyance. I think it's because the tab to lift it is on the left side, so every time you open the visor, it loosens that screw a tiny bit. It's not enough to ding it a star as this has been a great helmet, but it's something to consider.

Perfect fit, breaks in fast, lightweight and stylish
I ordered this in large according to the size chart, tried it on inside my house and immediately thought it was too tight. Wore it for less than a minute and said nope. I suffer migraine syndrome, so I try not to provoke it with tight hats or helmets. I should have kept it on longer, though. I put it right back into the box and returned it. I then ordered another large by mistake thinking I got an extra large (dumb of me, I know). I got stuck with it and decided to try it on for a 30 minute bike ride. Wow! It does slide on tight around the ears, but I learned to pull the strap tight against the padding and get one ear at a time, then did the same with the other strap and two ears at a time without catching hardly at all. Problem solved. Once on my head, I actually forgot it was there when I road across town to a friends house and have her a hug. I head butted her, and again when I said sorry and tried to kiss her forehead... lol! So I found it to be super lightweight, comfortable, seemingly well made with nice materials. I took it on the highway and hear a slight whistle over 60mph, but personally I won’t be hitting the interstate often. This is my around town and work commute helmet. The reviews from others who have spilled, swear by it. I trust it, and it’s a nice helmet compared to the poorly designed helmets I’ve worn in the past. Great value! If yours feels tight but your sizing was right, try the strap method I spoke of and just go for a ride before you decide. I think a size up would have been wobbly and that would have been more of a noticeable problem. Oh, and the matte black finish matches my satin/matte black bike almost perfectly.

Very happy
For the price this is excellent. Fits perfectly. The chin strap is comfortable. It’s design is new to me but so far I like it. It was easy to adjust and fits snug. Padding is soft and easy to remove. I installed a sound system with no instructions in about 15 minutes. On the highway the noise level it not bad at all. The Bluetooth speaker canceled out any wind and I highly recommend getting one or rocking ear buds. Around town it could be better with airflow through the vents. At stops I just flip up the visor. It’s got decent aerodynamic design. At higher speeds riding upright ( I have mini apes) it cuts through the wind. Side drafts are the only time I feel my head getting pushed. Comparing it to my half helmet it’s a million times more enjoyable. Especially on the highway or during longer rides. I might shelf the half and use this full time. I can’t speak for the sun shield. I double up visor and glasses. I ride to work in the sun and go home in the dark. The mat green looks as pictured and finish is flawless. I’ve only been on a few rides but I’m already a big fan. Only complaint is that the vents at lower speeds don’t seem to cool you as much as I’d like. Which is common with full helmet’s. But you don’t get the irritating sound of wind when the vents are open at higher speeds. So I guess it depends on how hot it is and how fast you ride and how many red lights. It has a wire mesh screen in the upper vents which is nice if you ever had a bug fly into your helmet. Also has a soft mesh that closes the gap below your chin and neck.

1st helmet, perfect price and fit
Being this is the first helmet I’ve ever purchased, I don’t have anything to compare it to. That being said, for the value of the money it’s great. At first it’s a tight fit but after going on my first ride an hour one way and back, it feels much more comfortable and easy to put on. Also worth noting that I wear glasses and they fit just fine with them on. I didn’t think the noise level was terrible, again don’t have anything to compare it to. It’s a clean looking helmet that is simple and does what it’s supposed to do. If you’re thinking about it, don’t, just send it.

Affordable helmet
Nice helmet. Though the chin air guard came off and it won’t stay on now. I have put a few thousand miles on this helmet with no issues. It fits me tightly but doesn’t feel uncomfortable. I am happy with my purchase.

Solid (Snug) Helmet
I currently use a Daytona 3/4 open face helmet and I wanted a second full face helmet for rides when I feel especially vulnerable. Here are my pros and cons for the GLX: PROS: 1. VALUE: surprised to find such an affordable helmet at this level of quality. This is just as nice if not nicer than other full face helmets I've owned in the past, at a fraction of the cost. 2. WEIGHT: Heavier than my Daytona 3/4, but lighter (just over 3 pounds) than many full face helmets at this price range (4 to 5 pounds). 3. COMPACT: Huge compared to my Daytona! But not as wide as a lot of full face helmets. At least I don't look like Toad from Super Mario Brothers. 4. SECOND TINTED VISOR: Easy to replace the clear and will leave it on even during night rides. 5. VENTS: Easy to operate and hope they stay functioning. 6. COMPANY: Headquartered in Duarte, CA, within the SGV, my old stomping grounds. Represent. CONS: 1. TIGHT: Listen to the people; this thing is snug. Supposedly larger than my Daytona (and the 1Storm I just returned), but feels just as snug, if not more so. I have big cheeks and they feel violated- got a compression headache the first time I tried it on. Would consider exchanging for a medium, but my suspicion is that it will be more comfortable once broken in. I am able to wear my glasses with it on. 2. WEIGHT: Obviously heavier than a 3/4 open face helmet (by about a pound), if that's what you're used to. 3. CHIN CURTAIN: I'm worried I'm going to lose this thing while riding. Plus, I have a big beard that is longer than where the chin curtain rests, defeating its purpose. Hope this is helpful. Peace.

Ok, for a cheap helmet, if you can get it on.
It is a 70-dollar helmet. Don't expect much. It is solid but for me, impossible to get on my head without tearing my ears off. There is NO flex, very rigid shell. After much struggle I did get it on. Removal ending up pulling out the chin screen. It went back in OK. There is no padding in the ear recesses. It's just hard, black plastic. If you have small ears, might be OK. Just no way I can manage it. Internal sizing seems reasonable, once you get the thing on. I'm between X and XL and XL fit ok around my cranium but my ears were not happy. I have an ILM modular that is much better.

Well made & simplistic
Looks: To start I’m 5’2 and when I first saw it I was like “this is huge”, but then I put it on & it fit perfectly. Definitely giving bobble head status but if I wear it with a sweatshirt it looks normal. The matte black looks really sleek & clean. I get compliments from people including my girlfriend so I think this would be a good buy for beginners all the way up to advanced riders. I wore this w/ a black gator & it honestly looks so nice. Just make sure you get the right size! Things to note: There’s good ventilation within the helmet. There’s 2 on top & a piece around the mouth area so you don’t fog up the visor. Though it comes w/ a clear visor, the black one (comes with the helmet) was a little hard to install bc there’s a click in type of mechanism. I just didn’t wanna push too hard and snap the visor so I had to toy around with angles to put it in. So if you have bigger hands/fingers that might be a little difficult, but definitely do-able. The packaging was sturdy & professional as well! Price: Definitely worth all the money. I don’t think you need to pay an extreme amount of money to get a good helmet so I’m glad I came across this. Hope this helps for anyone wondering!
