Does it have an On/Off switch for the Jumper?

No! The clamps suck and loose their grip. Mine fell out of the holder, shorted out and caught my trunk on fire. Burned the jump pack, the contents of my trunk, carpet, and damn near burned my car to the ground! Extremely dangerous without a master shutoff switch!!

Would this product jump start heavy equipment such as a semi?

My husband uses ours to start his backhoe.

Should I be leaving this plugged in at all times? Just investigating as to anything that could be sucking juice to increase my electric bill

I've owned the 1500 amp for about 12 years and it still works like new. Almost unbelievable. Strong and will start a large V8 engine with plenty of power left. I have left it plugged in for months at a time with no harm, however I agree that bringing it to a full charge and then unplugging it seems best. It will hold a full charge for months. I am ordering an additional one and hope it is still made the same as my original. My first one is an amazing product.

Will the batteries leak if it falls over on the ES1224 truck Pac thanks

I own three of these units. They are the best jump packs on the market right now. The batteries are sealed so they won't leak if tipped over.
