Way better than Chap Stick and it’s knock off brands without inducing the kind of physical dependence Chap Stick can. I used to need Chap Stick every hour or two or my lips would become extremely uncomfortable making it hard to focus on anything but getting my hands on some. Within a few weeks of switching I can go hours, sometimes a majority of the day, without thinking about it much. I’m to a point now where I could probably walk away cold turkey with just a week or so of minor discomfort but I’ve got some more important health related things to take care of that are a much higher priority than this. Either way it’s a big improvement over Chap Stick in the physical dependency department and if you get chapped lips and need something to help in the short term I’d go this route over Chap Stick to avoid the possibility of physical dependence.

It’s nicely applied

I am sensitive to lanolin, which is in Chapstick and most other lip balms. I'm also sensitive to the red dyes in most lipsticks and lip glosses. I have been using Vaseline lip balm for at least 30 years and carry it with me always. It's the only product that I can count on to keep my lips from chapping. Ihopethey never stop making it!
