To be honest, I didn't think it would work well, but what a surprise! This product blew me away. For the price, it's incredible. It works really well, the charge lasts a long time, and on several occasions my car battery has died and I've been able to jump-start it on the first try.

I bought this to help restart my convertible that sits in the garage most of the time. I know I should put a battery conditioner on the vehicle and keep it ready, but (well) I would likely forget to do that regularly. Anyway, rather than having to position my primary car to jump start it ... this is sooooo much easier. I've used it many times and it is so much more convenient than trying to find a car to help me get started. It comes with USB outputs as well as a light if you ever need to use it in the dark. The digital charge level helps me decide whether it is time to charge it as well. This jump box works great with my little 4-cyl Miata, but I dont have any experience with larger engines that would require a larger surge to start.

We were so happy when we found this charger. So tiny yet so powerful. I love the case so sturdy. Unfortunately, the charger jump started my car only 2 times. However the customer service is amazing! They really took care of us. They gave us options as to what we would like to do: refund or replacement. I think we just probably got a bad one, but, bcause of their amazing customer service I do recommend the product. You have peace of mind just in case it doesn't work out. Just make sure you keep it charged and check it once in a while to see it's function.

Very easy to use and quite powerful for the compact size. So far it’s been a durable and great product with good charging capabilities!

Bought this three years ago, kept it charged, and tried twice to use it — didn’t work either time. • First time was to help someone who said her car/battery were “tricky,” so I let it go. • Most recent time: yesterday, on my newish car battery that had died after not driving for a week in cold temps. I know equipment doesn’t last forever, but you buy a jump starter for emergencies. You need to be able to rely on it — especially after only using it twice! Taking the AAA guy’s advice and spending on a Nuco.

Update: It's been eighteen months since I bought this starter. I have used it to help others several times and one time for myself. Each time it immediately provided more than adequate volt/amps to fire the vehicles up. What was most amazing is that after each start it would be a good idea to recharge it, it always read that it was still at 100%. The vehicles had started that fast. I still left it charging for a while, perhaps half an hour to forty-five minutes. I bought this starter because I have a battery in my truck that, though holding slightly under 12V, is six years old. I needed something portable, but up to a day ago have had no need to use it. A contractor at the house was leaving for the day and his Ram 2500 had a totally dead battery due to leaving an auxilliary turned on. I got the unit out of my truck and was surprised to see it still read 100%. The hook up was simple and when the display read measured voltage I gave him the signal to crank. The Ram fired up instantly. After disconnect, the Jump Starter still read 100%. It was that fast. I had been a bit concerned buying something you do not get to properly test until you desperately need it, but on this initial run I was impressed with how simple it was to use, how it had no problem supplying the starter with power to turn over a large engine quickly, and the small amout of battery used (probably due to how quickly it got the vehicle going).
