Works great! The one that came with my TV wasn’t working properly. This was a replacement. No set up required. Add batteries and it automatically works with your TV.

Original remote was breaking on me. This new remote works well. Only caveat is how sensitive the scroll is. I press the scroll as a select button, often ends up scrolling instead of selecting.

Awesome replacement for our LG TV worked right out of the package our TV just detected a new magic remote and registered it to the TV and ready to go. I like the feel of it it has the same glossy back as the original I like the buttons better on this remote there bigger. The rocker for the pointer is larger also. It doesn't have as many quick access buttons as the original remote but I always forget about those anyway . We bought this so visiting family with small kids don't damage the original and were left withouton a remote. It was a good price has the pointer option(magic remote) Shipped very fast we got it the next day.

I bought this remote for a good price. I'm giving it 4 stars because of that, as it serves the purpose. I'm not giving 5 stars because it doesn't function correctly at times, primarily due to it's sensitivity. It's hard to push the center wheel to select something, as it tends to scroll as well. Sometimes I move the remote on my table, without touching any buttons, and it turns the tv on. Usually when I turn the tv off, it increases the channel by one. Regardless, it is worth it to deal with these inconsistencies due to the value.

Worked well easily out of the box. Instructions for pairing were concise and easy to follow.

Exactly the same as my original LG remote. The instructions included with the product were unclear on how to activate. It’s important to turn the tv on using the manual button on the back of the lg (depending on the model) and then HOLDING the x button while pressing the middle button to activate. Otherwise: Fantastic

This was purchased to replace our damaged remote that came with the tv. The set-up was easy and compatible. However, the remote design is terrible. Trying to only press the select button activates the mouse pointer. That center button toggles way too easily.

Turned my TV on right away no programming needed. Excellent

I took a chance on this after seeing the price of the original LG one. My original LG remote stopped working out of the blue, with the light stuck on as if a button was stuck down. I took it to bits, cleaned it, replaced the batteries, re-paired to the TV but it didn't help so I resigned myself to replacing it. This one is identical to the original, except maybe slightly lighter? The magic pointer feature works fine as does the voice remote and I've found no issues using it with my 3 year old LG SM8050PLC. Hopefully I won't need to but would definitely buy again.

Our son lost the original remote, so we took a chance on this replacement and it worked perfectly. It functions just like the original with no issues at all. Super easy to set up and use. Great replacement option!
