Love the Berrypro rods. They are a great bargin considering the quality of the product. I exlusively use Berrypro rods for saltwater fishing. The fit and finish is more than anyone can ever expect at this price point. I own many other rods that are significantly more expensive and have not held up as well as these.This 12 foot rod looks great i love the color. I mostly own spinning rods but have to say this rod will not be the last one i'll pair with a casting reel. I'll order one or two more soon.

Very good rod. I buy one or two every year. I now own 5 of them. They are all 12' in length. These rod are used all the time in saltwater conditions. These rods are a little stiff to cast. So will take some practice to use. But with small wieghts "3oz" and a smaller baits. "Shrimp" and proper technique. a 75 yard cast from the surf is easy. 100 yard cast from the beach is achievable. although in rough conditions I'm usually throwing out a 6oz spider wieght. The sensitivity is amazing. A five inch whiting is easily detected. Can handle a 50 pound black drum with ease. I'm usually targeting specs from the beach and does a hell of a job with those too. These rods are not toys. They are elite tools and should be handled with care. If you have them riding around in the bed of the truck. With looses tackle boxes and coolers banging into them. They will break. If this is how you handle your rods. This is not the rod for you. These rods are not fiberglass and have porcelain eyes. Made for sensitivity and hard fighting fish. Not to be thrown around. Hope this is helpful.

I've only used it once so far on a trip. I did really well for me. I am going to be using it again on an upcoming trip.

Lightweight

This is my 3rd Berry Pro rod and first time trying this baby out. Got the 11ft and paired it with a Shimano Symetre 4000 with 12 lbs test lines (supposedly holds 160 yds) I do Stripe bass fishing and don't use very heavy lines so 12 lbs are my go to. Fished a very shallow area and went out about 30-40 yrds in my wader. After the first cast and walked back to the bank I ran out of lines. That's how far this rod can cast. Good god I didn't get any hit or i would have spooled out right away and lost it anyways. Felt a little stiff which is very good for casting but didn't catch anything on it yet so will update how it is with a fish on the other end of the line when i do soon😁

I like that this rod is light but strong with back bone. This rod will land Jacks and big reds. Should be fun hooking up. I have paired it up with a 4500 penn spin fisher reel.

The media could not be loaded. I snapped my rod. Window for Amazon return had closed. Reached out to seller they sent a new rod within 5 days. Great customer service and excellent quality fishing rod.
