The Astromania Dual Finder Scope Mount is a fantastic addition to my telescope setup. If you use more than one finder (like a red dot and an optical finder, or even a guider), this bracket makes everything so much more convenient. The build quality is excellent—solid metal construction with a clean finish, and it feels very secure once mounted. There’s no flex or wobble, which is exactly what you want when aligning your finders for accurate pointing. Installation was straightforward and took just a few minutes. It fit perfectly onto my existing dovetail base, and both finder slots hold firmly in place without slipping. Once aligned, everything stays put, even after multiple sessions. What I really like is the flexibility it adds. Being able to switch between finders quickly or use both at the same time makes locating objects much easier, especially during longer observing sessions. Overall, this is a simple but very effective upgrade for any amateur astronomer looking to improve their setup.

High quality, lightweight, fit my telescope dovetail shoe perfectly. I think the only thing I would have liked to see were slotted thumb screws. That would make tightening them much easier rather than using a pair of pliers to snug them up but other than that... this was perfect!

Looks like it can be useful but there is WAY too little information for how it works and more specifically what parts are needed to put it on different mounts like the Celestron 4se. It’s not round, it doesn’t seem to fit anything I have unless you get multiple other pieces that I have no idea about. The pieces have brackets already on them, there’s no clarification for what to do in that situation. I searched for many hours today on how to get this to work but I see nothing, I couldn’t find YouTube videos or other products related which could help me. I didn’t get any instruction book and don’t exactly know what’s adjustable about the aluminum. On top of that, I couldn’t find any other products that could be used instead for what I have which is very annoying. I really hope I can learn how to get this to work, I wanted to put the Starsense Autoalign and a SVBONY guiderscope on my mount. Thanks.

This finderscope bracket is perfect for mounting multiple finderscope accessories using a Vixen Dovetail mount. In my case I'm using a Celestron Nexstar 8se SCT which doesn't come with a Vixen mount for the finderscope. So I first had to purchase a finderscope base that would fit on the 8se. I tried a few but the one that fit perfectly was another AstroMania finder base for SCT's. (AstroMania actually makes 2 different finder bases so be sure to check the screw spacing before buying if you have an 8se). Anyways regarding this finder scope bracket, it's pretty much everything that you want. The bracket seems pretty solidly made. Each bracket comes with 2 screws for tightening down your accessories. What makes this bracket stand out when compared to other finder scope brackets is the sizing of the brackets. They are a few millimeters wider than other finderscope brackets I found on Amazon. In face the 2 sice brackets are slightly wider than the center bracket. Why is this important? Well, I bought another finder scope bracket from a different vendor because it was slightly cheaper. That product didn't work with my StarSense AutoAlign product - the bracket for the AutoAlign is on the large side as far as brackets are concerned and it would only fit half-way into the bracket of the other cheaper product. Fortunately, there were so such issues with this bracket from AstroMania. All 3 of the brackets were able to fit the AutoAlign perfectly. Now I'm able to use my StarSense AutoAlign with my green laser pointer.
