Works great, very bright, easy to use & wear

Whether this is the right headlamp for you depends on what you want to use it for. If it is for campground use, or nighttime astronomy, this is the perfect item because it first turns on as RED. This EXACTLY how I prefer it. If you need it as an emergency light, or workshop light, then this might not be your first choice because of the sequence of how the lights are turned on. There are RED lights; two white LEDs to the sides (AREA); and a center focused LED (SPOT). The single button operations turns on the light and cycles through in this order: RED==>AREA+SPOT==>SPOT only but brighter==>AREA only==>OFF. If you pause for more than a second, then the cycling stops and the next press is OFF. The light does not remember your last setting. It will always start with RED. Except for the RED, at any other white LED settings, a PRESS AND HOLD of the button will change the intensity by increasing to maximum and the decreasing to minimum and will keep alternating while you hold the button. Also, I prefer that it uses replaceable AAA batteries. This comes with two lights and 6 AAA batteries. I have largely migrated to rechargeable AA and AAA batteries at home. This allows me to have a fresh set in before every use. I don’t prefer the non replaceable rechargeable type because when the battery or charging port fails, it’s useless. Summary: 1. Simplicity of replaceable AAA, thus less things to fail. 2. Simplicity means this is cheap. You get two lights and initial set of 6 Energizer AAA alkaline batteries. 3. Great for camping and nighttime astronomy because light turns on as RED. 4. Very bright white LEDs for lighting an area or focused spot light.

For the money, great product. Super bright, well thought out..I like that the 1st mode is the red light mode... Energizer products are high value and last... Only potential negative is they do get warm when run on high output mode...

Nice headlamps. Strap is comfortable, easy to attach light to strap. Not too heavy, even w/ batteries. Only issue was shorted me 1 battery. Came with 5 batteries. Nice compact light. Doesn't remember cycle through lights. If you stop for a second, have to stat over from beginning. The focused light is nice and bright, shines quite a ways. The red light is nice to preserve your night vision. There are 4 light settings. Bought these for taking evening walks with the dog and for camping. Too bad won't fit on dog's head LOL.

These have been the best purchase for me for a while. They are bright, easy to wear and turn on and off. They are adjustable to put the light where you need it. I do maintenance on buildings and have to get in some dark places. These allow me to see clearly. They are small enough that they don't get in the way. They are not rechargeable but the batteries that came with them seem to be lasting well.

These are fantastic! I’m a mail carrier and it’s perfect for when it’s dark! It’s comfortable too and adjustable. Nice and bright!

I purchased the model called “PRO”. Amazon seems also to list a “PRO 260” that appears to be the same product, as the purchased model is also rated at 260 lumens. I have no problem giving this 5 stars. I have a vintage Petzl lamp that cost as much or more 10 – 15 years ago for a single unit, and these are vastly superior. The Petzl battery compartment was annoyingly difficult to open / close, and the on-off switch was no joy. The “red” light was a flip-down filter over the main light that was also hard to locate by feel and operate. Regarding the Energizer, the battery compartment is easy to open yet still closes securely. The batteries do not want to “jump out” and are happy to stay in place while you close the cover. The on-off switch is significantly larger and therefore easier to find / operate. The strap is comfortable and easy to adjust. These units arrived with a black strap instead of the gray shown / advertised in the listing. That was a pleasant surprise to me. You may feel differently. The only objections I can raise are the complete lack of operating instructions (it’s surprisingly non-intuitive) and that’s it’s advertised as having 7 modes, which is misleading. Let me resolve those. It really has only four modes: red, spot and flood combined, spot only, and flood only, in that sequence. The modes are initiated by the number of times you initially press the on switch. Press once for red. Press four times for flood only. Once in any mode, a single press returns you to off. So, to go from spot to flood you press once for off, then four times for flood. Except for red, all modes are variably dimmable. Once in any mode except red, hold the switch and the light will dim. It will blink when it arrives at the lowest level, which is not all the way to black. Press and hold again and it will brighten, blinking again when it achieves maximum intensity. Since the modes are variably dimmable you might as well say it has infinite modes, but the way the manufacturer counts them is red, and then both high and low on the three other modes. Both units arrived in working order.

Otima lanterna, regula a densidade da luz, muito economica, uso nos acampamentos.

It is very comfortable when you wear it. It will make your job easier and has many lightning modes.

As lanternas chegaram em bom estado e apresentam ser de de bons materiais. Ainda é muito cedo pra dizer que é um bom produto. Só depois de pelo menos um ano de uso é possível falar de qualidade.
