KEENMen's Newport H2 Sandal

This is my third pair of Keen sandals. They are comfortable and fit perfectly. They are versatile since I use them for walking and when I am on the boat fishing.

I bought these for an upcoming trip to Costa Rica after reading about them on a Costa Rica travel blog. I already own Keen hiking shoes and they are literally the best shoes I’ve ever owned.These sandals are incredible! The fit and comfort are great, and I love that they can be both water shoes and used for all types of hiking as well. Huge thumbs up!!

I love these sandels. Even bought another pair for my son. We both wear 14's so we only had a selection of brown or black. My only complaint is I went back to buy even more in our size but they are sold out. Wish that I could get several more pairs and also wish they had more color selection in the size 14's. There is no break in period and after maybe two outings they completely mold to the contour of your feet. We even wore them all day long swimming and floating around in a water park and they continue to hold up great. We continue to wear them every single day. If I were a young man I believe I could go on rough hiking trips and hill climb with theses things. I have worn and still wear a brand of work shoes these highly mimic for about 10 years and these things look and feel exactly like them

Re-Edit. (At bottom)It has been 3 months since I bought these and I loved to wear them, but they are now falling apart. I don't even get crazy in these things. They have been my somewhat daily sandal that I wear to go to the store or out for the day to do whatever. I'm not a hiker or mountain climber or anything like that. I am a 6'2'' 180lb male so it's not like I am overweight or anything like that. They are comfy and I love the style but if a $100 pair of sandals only last 3 months I will go back to Wally World flip flips that usually at least last me a year. I put in for Keen's warranty just today as they have a 1 year warranty. We will see how that goes.**Well Keen got back to my warranty claim same day I submitted it and gave me a free voucher for another pair. I am absolutely blown away by their quick response. I bumped the review up from 2 to 4 stars. Hopefully my new pair lays longer than 3 months.

I'm keeping them, the foot bed is proportioned perfectly for my foot. It's almost like that portion was designed as a custom fitment. I got the 13s. The 1/2 size small statement may be roughly correct, since I doubt i could get them on if I were wearing socks. The biggest issue is that where you slide your foot into them is tiny. I have to tug on that strap a lot to get that strap out from under my foot and over the ankle. Once it is on, it's perfect. However, I suspect the issue people have with the strap stitching breaking on the side has to do with the strap being small and not adjustable. When I pull on that tab i keep thinking I'm going to rip it right off. I may order a 14 as well, but my fear is that it will be too long. I wish there were a 13.5 option...assuming there is a difference in the size of the opening.

My right foot is 11 1/2" long by 4 1/2" wide. My left foot is 11 1/4" long by 4 1/2" wide. I cannot even get either foot half way into these shoes. I have never worn larger than a size 13 shoe.This is a very well made shoe. It has an elastic band that wraps around the entire ankle and connects to the tongue. You can loosen the lacing to raise the tongue but the lift is restricted by the max expansion of the elastic. My foot won't even go into this stretched elastic opening. This shoe looks narrow.

This is the 4th pair of these sandals I have bought over the last two decades. I wear 13wide shoes and the size 13 sandal fits me fine. I wear these anytime the temperature is above 50. They stay on your feet, even in the water, and dry fast when wet. Best footwear I've found for outdoor warm weather activity.
