Q: With the mobile kit can you insert the phone vertically instead of horizontally?

Yes. Rotate the clamp horizontally and clamp the phone from the right and left sides.

Q: I recently purchased the mke440 but the light blinks red and it blinks faster and faster finally the indicator just stays red. there is no signal too?

The light blinks once when it is turned on, that's it. If you only turn it half on, you get the wind muffler. There is no signal.

Q: Is the cord hardwired? on the mke 200 and 400 it is a threaded trrs female jack.

It is wired. Includes TRS male on both (mic side) and one of each a TRS (camera) and TRRS (smartphone, etc.) male to male cable.

Q: Will this mount on a Go Pro Hero 10?

Not directly. You’d need some kind of casing with a cold shoe mount. You might look into the media case for the GoPro which has a mic.
