Good as bluechip

So it's not a Blue Chip...
...but it's still an incredible pick. Slightly smaller than my TAD 40, but after spending a few hours with it I found I didn't mind that at all. At 1.0mm its's also slightly thinner that the TAD 40, that's perhaps 1.1 or 1.2mm thick, but it turns out I don't mind that either. The sound is bright and crisp and honestly plays just as smooth as the higher priced spread. In response to some other reviewers comments, once you get the plastic shrink wrap off the little cannister, the case opens easily and once you remove the little bag inside the cannister, you can probably fit 10 or12 picks in there. Maybe Martin changed the design since their purchases. Oh, and I thought the little sandpaper grip you can stick on the back of the pick something I wouldn't really use or need, come to find out it's pretty cool as well. Now, is it worth $19.95? Is a Blue Chip worth $40? Give one of these a try and decide for yourself. However, like most things Martin, I think you'll find it's a quality piece of gear.

Not what I expected but great nonetheless
This is not a blue chip clone. I own a few BC picks, and the Luxe is something entirely different and maybe just as good. It doesn’t feel or play like a BC so if that’s what you’re expecting then you might be disappointed!

Solid Pick
I put this below Blue Chip but above a Prime Tone. Feels good in the hand and a pleasant contact with the strings.

It makes a difference
In comparison to just regular guitar picks (I've not tried a blue chip or any other premium picks, just regular cheap picks of various composition) this makes a pretty big difference. I was surprised at how much better the guitar not only sounded...but felt. I do not regret spending the money on this pick at all.

Not sure
It’s a pretty nice pick, but the packaging is excessive. As for the pick, I think I’d prefer something a little rounder (generally I use cheap tortex until they’re worn to circles), but the material is nice. Seriously though what were they thinking about the packaging? I had to use tools to open it to avoid potentially breaking a fingernail or getting cut. Also it’s pretty wasteful and not even big enough to hold a decent amount of drugs. Pfft.
