Sinking Goldfish Excel Fish Food, 3.8 oz. (110g)

Good quality gold fish food. Sinks, which is better for the fish so they don’t consume air. Instead, they sift through the substrate to get it, which is what they do in nature. The color development of my goldfish has been excellent with this food.

I’ve been a customer for close to a year at this point, and this food more than does the job for my goldfish. They still enjoy the food despite them getting it fairly regularly, and unlike the cheaper stuff at grocery stores it’s very dense. I’ve never had any sort of bloat issues with my fish, especially important as fancy goldfish tend to have very sensitive stomachs. And as it’s dry food, I tend to bulk order a few packages at a time and restock once in a while. Something I will say is shipping isn’t the best. I’ve had orders get here late, and recently had one get lost in shipping when I really needed it on hand. But overall, as long as you’re ordering ahead I highly recommend.

My goldfish love them, no swim bladder issues! I split their feedings between this and bloodworms. They did lose some of their black color but that is to be expected when the number of melanocytes changes during the first several years of your fish’s life.

Sinks fast

I use this between other feedings as a supplement. The fish are growing beautifully. Their colors are bright. They look super healthy and happy.

Goldfish prefer food that sinks to the bottom of a pond or tank, and makes it easier for the bay fish to feed. It also lasts longer than the floating fish food that gets trapped in the water filters. The ingredients are high quality and our goldfish have beautiful color. We feed this to our fish in our outdoor pond and the pellets fall to the bottom of the tank so that the fish can eat during the cold weather, under snow and ice. Even the young fish do well.

Tardó un poco en llegar, pero el producto es muy bueno

I've always used Hikari food for my koi pond, so when I started with indoor goldfish, I got this. My common and fancy goldfish love it and it seems to keep them healthy and give them good colour. No cloudy water. My fish are about 6 inches long so they don't need baby size pellets like these, but they eat them up just fine. (I haven't been able to find the larger pellet sizes on Amazon.)
