Broil King 18674 Propane Infrared Side Burner Kit, Black, Silver

Even though the seller didn't provide any install manuals with the box it was easy to find the Broil King installation video online. The video is very informative and all up it should take less than 10 mins to install. The burner does what it should and sears verys well. Not a huge surface area to sear but good enough for most one off cuts. All up it seems like quality kit and is a great replacement for that waste of time side burner that this, and so many other BBQ's come with.

Der Infrarotbrenner passt sehr gut in das Seitenteil meines Broil King Baron und funktioniert auch.Leider fehlt der Anschlag für den Drehregler und man muss, um den Brenner mit 50mbar richtig nutzen zu können, eine 0,81mm Gasdüse verbauen.Diese gibt es für ca 4€ im Fachhandel (zb. Grillgoods) Wenn man diese Düse verbaut hat,mach der Brenner richtig Spaß und man hat ein tolles Upgrade für seinen Grill. Die Lieferung aus Amerika dauert allerdings ca 3 Wochen, aber dafür bekommt man den Brenner über 100 € günstiger als in Deutschland.

Work perfectly with a Baron series bbq. Don't listen to reviews saying there are missing parts. They probably didnt check compatibility.

I ordered a used version on Amazon Warehouse, and it arrived missing parts, mainly the adapter to connect to the gas, knob adapter, and manual. I returned, and this time purchased a NEW model, and it had exactly the same issues. Missing parts! I called Amazon, and was shipped another brand new model, and returned the 2nd attempt. When the 3rd arrived, it was also supposed to be NEW, but it had clearly been opened, and was again, missing exactly the same parts as the first 2 orders. I also contacted the manufacturer, Broil King, to enquire about them sending spares for the small missing parts. The Broil King representative refused to help, and suggested that I contact Amazon to see if they had the spare parts. As if! Not only do i Not recommend this burner, I would suggest staying away from Broil King altogether! I now firmly regret that I'm stuck with a $1,500 grill that my wife got me for Father's Day. I shoud've insisted on WEBER! They have awesome customer service, and their products are better quality. A message to Broil King: That you build your grills in North America is commendable. However, that fact loses all value since your Quality Assurance, and Customer Support service are pathetic jokes. I will be a WEBER loyalist from now on--just need to get rid of your s490 Pro grill without hurting my wife's feelings. Chinese vendors have better customer service than this fly by night outfit.

Missing the parts everybody else is. The knob parts and the quick connect gas fitting to hook up the gas I have a Regal 590 that's only a few years old, so it will work Sent it back and ordered another. We'll see what happens. I'll update Update: The replacement is missing the same parts It took a few days when it was supposed to be next day. I thought they might have been sorting it out but no, it looks like they sent one that was returned. It had the look of something from Warehouse Deals. They must not read these reviews. The fact that its been this way for so long and they haven't been able to correct the situation is bizarre. Sending the replacement back and getting a refund. Now I have 2 packages I have to send back. I really was looking forward to installing this burner kit.
