Fantastic Digital Piano
I recently purchased the Alesis Prestige Artist – 88 Key Digital Piano, and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with its performance, quality, and design. The 88 fully weighted keys provide an authentic playing experience that mimics the feel of an acoustic piano. The materials and the pedals are also well-made and provide a responsive and realistic playing experience. What I appreciate most about this digital piano is its versatility. It has a variety of features that allow me to customize my playing experience to suit my preferences. In conclusion, I would highly recommend the Alesis Prestige Artist – 88 Key Digital Piano to anyone looking for a high-quality, versatile, and authentic playing experience. The sound quality, materials, and features are all exceptional, and I am confident that this piano will exceed your expectations. Graded hammer keys. Ease of use
What a great bit of kit. Lots of different voices and an ability to merge 2 which makes for a great way to create fantastic sounds. For me, the volume was a major factor here, the Alesis range seem to offer better sound system, the recital I started with topped 20W output, the prestige artist I've upgraded to, 50W output, more than enough for a small hall venue. All in all, I'm very happy with this keyboard and also wish to thank Alesis support for their quick and efficient response to my questions.Albert hall, here I come.

An excelent choice for beginners and intermediate players
This keyboard feels and performs like a traditional piano. The sound is quite good, and the price is excellent. I don't think anyone other than professionals would be disappointed with it. The full 88 keys are a welcome departure from the 62 keys of many keyboards. These are often difficult to obtain. If you see one, buy it.Note: This has several voices but not the dozens that many keyboards have. The quality of the few has been concentrated on rather than the dozens of tinny sounds many keyboards have.

Great sound, very good price
A fantastic piano action which feels responsive and has decent weight without being an effort to play - it's enjoyable. The sounds are OK - there are two acoustic piano sounds that are definitely easy on the ear, and I like the choir pad sound, but some of the others are a little mediocre. As a master keyboard which is easily portable and makes a great stage piano too, though, it's ideal and worth every penny.

real feel piano with extra features
comes with quality sustain pedal and the keys are so realistic light feel on high notes and more effort on the low end of the scale also expression is possible as the keys are velocity and pressure sensitive. there is a good selection of sounds for a dedicated stand alone unit and the polyphonic capabilities are wonderful no fall out of any notes when using multi player . i use mine to send signals to the Mac when recording software instruments through the usb midi output .. which is also used for the lesson softwareI think the quality of this unit is very good. it is not a general midi instrument and it does not pretend to be .the sound through the internal speakers is good quality and the head phone ports are also goodif you were to use as a stage piano an external amp and speakers would be required. the internal speakers are good but good in a small room environment . I find the effects such as reverb and arpeggiator a bit of a gimmick and would not choose to use themvery happy with this purchase

Not a keyboard, fantastic quality
My daughter is grade 8 now with grades completed with this piano. I knew she would needed a weighted key piano to be able to play effectively. This was amazing value for money. We never move it. It's so large I don't think you would want to be using it for gigs. Its light. Best buy of anything we have ever bought from Amazon and cheaper than gear 4 music.

Sadly, and as good as the spec and price is, it's just not worth entertaining this piano.
The major flaw with this Alesis is the action, and in particular the sensitivity; the shift between softer notes to medium notes, as you're playing, is so crude that it's instantly noticeable, and for a piano player it's very off-putting. Granted, a beginner may not notice this as much, but, they'd end up adjusting how they played and that adjustment then wouldn't translate to a real piano (or another digital piano that doesn't have this issue). Also, and quite irritatingly, Alesis have reversed-wired the sustain pedal so almost all of the sustain pedals I have in my studio simply won't work with it unless they have a polarity reverse switch on them. Quite why Alesis have done the opposite to everyone else is bizarre, and even though this Alesis comes with a nice sustain pedal, it means carrying a spare if you're out gigging could be an issue. It's a real shame as the Alesis looks great, the speaker system is very good and the features on it are well in advance of similarly priced pianos. However, the issue with the action is enough for this to be unusable, for me at least.

Superbly playable keybed, very good stock sounds
I didn't expect much from this but I was wrong. For the price it's a total winner. The keybed is great, the stock sounds are well worth it and the responsiveness to velocity spot on. The speakers could be better but I'm being picky.Well done Alesis
