Great little drone. No issues and 8 year old son got the hang of it immediately. Sad to say faster than me and I used to fly RC aircraft in my younger days! Make sure you read the manual and pay attention to the self calibration function and you should have no issues. Battery life is ok considering the size. Tempted to buy another drone for spares and batteries. Comes with spare props and tools. I like the design. The rotors are well protected. The collision avoidance works well but not in a small room. It will play drone tennis if the room is too small as it will just go from wallto wall. Auto take off and land is a great function. Self lands if the battery gets too low. Love it. Only one issue, it doesn't seem to have a failsafe, so if the transmitter signal is lost it keeps flying. Need to test this more but not really willing to do so outside....

Nice little drone. First one I have owned for many years and I purchased it to have fun with my 5 year old daughter. It is very stable in doors but can get a bit sketchy in small areas due to it's obstical avoidance sensors. Great way to teach my daughter how to fly as it is capable of taking a good old tumble and keep on going. It performed well out in the garden on what was a calm day but imagine you would need to be mindful if the wind picked up. If you are using this to play with young kids you will find the auto land function very handy. Only downside for me was the day after I purchased it, Amazon had it on a lightning deal!

I have recently purchased this drone for my son and a few days ago was the very first time that we took the drone out for testing it. We took it in the middle of a massive football pitch behind our house and as soon as we pressed ascend on the control, drone started climbing and not responding to any other controller instructions. The drone went up and confusedly dropped in the massive bush area behind our reach in the forest. I tried to go and find the drone, but I had a fall and I am all bruised and in major pain. My children have been crying because this was the first time that they want to play with the drone and they didn’t get a chance and they miss the drone. I believe it is unfair that the item is sold as an item that can be used outside, however, the controller did not have full and continuous connection with the drone. The quality of photo and connection with controller and app have been very poor. We discussed our experience with Amazon who agreed that this is a legitimate concern and suggested contacting the seller. There is no email or phone number for customer service. Amazon assistants gave me contact information through Facebook. I contacted 4DRC via Facebook massager and I was simply ignored. Overall, poor quality, poor control and connection, absolutely awful customer support. Don’t waste your money.

I needed a mini practice drone to use indoors during the darker months and have tried out quiet a few and this little 4DRC Mini Drone is IMHO far and away the best. I own quiet a few ' professional drones' , Parrot Anafi, DJI Mavic, NEO etc which I use through my work , I am also a certified MMA UAS operator but needed something simple and cheap for indoor use to keep up my skills. contrary to some reviews I have found this little drone to be pretty robust. We are all going to crash from time to time when flying indoors - it happens The fully enclosed propellor guards however do their job and I have only had to replace one rotor when it sucked a net curtain in which has even happened with my Neo drone which isn't really designed to be flown indoors in any event. This 4DRC drone comes with a full set of replacements in any event with a blade replacement tool in the neat little carrying case so no drama' s there. It also has pretty effective obstacle avoidance sensors although be aware only port and starboard not fore and aft but as well as a good safety feature you can have quiet a lot of fun flying into the invisible barrier and bouncing off the walls - see vid .This is marketed as a camera drone but as I said I didn't buy it for that although I have tested the capability which works pretty well , although it gobbles up battery life which is pretty limited in any event, in fact the only reason I have given it four stars not five is for this. It does however come with spare battery's in the kit and a neat little usb charger wich glows red when fully charged. As I say I purchased it for indoor practice flight in my smallish flat and around my local curry house etc but I have flown it outside at mates barbecues for example and it is quiet a powerful little thing with one button take off and landing and also RTH, rarely found in a drone of this size and price. Well done 4DRC, meets my need and at this price point you can't go wrong.

excellent Good Quility

My 11 year old loves this drone. It flies well inside & out once controls have been mastered. You can also set up to video from drone which is fun. Battery doesn’t last long but there is a spare one. Unfortunately charging wire has snapped but we have a spare usb micro wire we can use instead. The propellers also break easily and are fiddly to replace. It does come with spares but the spare one has also now broken. I have just ordered more spares from their website at a cost of £6.44. I think they should include more spares in the box if they break so easily. Overall a great success for a beginner but probably not made to last!

Richtig gute Drohne. Sie lässt sich sehr gut steuern und durch den automatische Start-/Landeknopf bekommen das auch Anfänger gut hin. Durch die kompakte Größe fliegt sie auch innerhalb der Wohnung ohne das man Angst hat das die Kinder gleich etwas kaputt fliegen, etwas Übung und die Anleitung braucht man aber, dann klappt es auch mit Loopings und macht richtig viel spaß!

Pessimo. Ne ho acquistati due, il primo non riesce a salire, si alza appena e va a sbattere a sx. Ho provato a cambiare le eliche ma il difetto rimane. Il secondo drone si alza regolarmente ma poi si capovolge da solo più volte, altre volte cambia quota di volo senza che gli sia stato dato il comando, sembra impazzito. Provato a togliere le batterie sia al drone che al telecomando ma senza risultati. I droni li ho provati uno per volta, chissà cosa succede se li accendo insieme. Pur tra le lacrime, miei nipotini mi hanno chiesto di buttarli via, perché non potevano giocarci

Il est dejà en panne, il ne s'allume tout simplement plus apres quelques utlisations...

El dron llegó con una batería inutilizable no carga y la otra con algo de carga, lo peor es que aún después de nivelarlo el dron se va hacia la izquierda. No hay forma de controlarlo. Si, el precio y las características parecían buenas, pero la realidad es que, lo barato sale caro. Voy a devolverlo, ya que no han llegado las baterías de repuesto, ni tampoco he sabido nada desde el día 16 del vendedor.
