Eastern Feast - Large Broad Fava Beans, 32 oz (907g)

I finally got to make my Greek dish with lamb and the fava beans. They are nice and large.They must be soaked overnight. Also boiled before adding to dishes. I made mine with lamb and it was out of this world. I will order again. 👍

Just what I was looking for and needed to put on my St. Joseph Table/Altar and to give out to people. If you haven’t heard of a St. Joseph Table/Altar then “Google” it. It is very interesting and you will be amazed.

Good size & flavor as advertised, but at ~$7/lb. it's a bit on the expensive side. At my local Asian market I can fava beans of roughly comparable quality, that are approx. ~$4/lb., & since it's the bulk foods section I can buy a little at a time, without buying 2-lb bags.

Nice size,and fresh tasting,will be ordering more.

I received this Eastern Feast - Large Broad Fava Beans, 32 oz A few weeks ago. I was looking for a ready to eat snack that I remembered eating at my grandma's house when I was a kid. This was not that. However I emailed the company and they supplied a recipe that allowed me to soak, cook and season these fava beans. Guess what, they taste pretty good.So I down graded because of an inadequate description but they recovered because the support was good.

I eat Fava beans for over 60 years, but this brand is the only one I found on amazon.com, and is very hard for eating.There are many ways to make the beans softer, but none of these worked with this brand. The beans are over cooked at higher temperature by the producer.I ended purchasing the seeds and planting them to make my own dried Fava beans for storage, BUT,“the best thing for the body is to eat them raw from the plant”.On my experience, each seed/plant can yield around 1 pound of fresh Fava Beans.
