Just what I needed to keep my Canon EOS SL2 running for extended filming in my studio and for Zoom calls. This is a good value for the money versus the OEM version. The components appear to be of good quality and the adapter fits perfectly with the cable matched to where the cable door on the camera expects it to fit. No issues, has been a great purchase!

This item surpassed my expectations. I was hesitant at 1st with not being OEM, but hadb o give it a try with such a good price. I used it with my Canon t6i and it kept my camera powered on for more than 6 hrs straight. I used this for my son's bday party for video and still photos. I just placed the camera on a tripod and just set it to record the party. I had completely forgotten that I had kept it on and I was busy with the party festivities. When I remembered and got to the camera, it was still powered on, no issues and I was able to continue taking photos and recording video. I highly recommend. The OEM is highly over priced.

Wow! It actually works! (Canon T7i -- just make sure you open the camera's little rubber notch tab thingy for the cord to pass through so you can close the battery compartment's door.) I've been recording a lot of long concerts and stressing out about having to change batteries DURING a gig and then having to deal with multi-second gaps in the capture, plus dealing with multi-minute editing headaches from synchronizing the split video to external audio sources. Now, if I could just keep the camera from stopping recording every 30 minutes, that would be sweet!

I was looking for a solution to do time-lapse photography for a Canon Rebel SL2 and Canon EOS RP. This works with both cameras. Just need to note that these Canon cameras will not power ON unless the batter door is completely shut. So there's a notch for you to feed the wire through, in order to close the battery door completely. I wonder if some of the people who complained about the product not working realize this fact. As if there's not enough time-lapse videos of plants growing already in this world, I'm off to produce more.
