Just what I was looking for for the right price

It's a fine product. I would say it's pretty easy to use and does what it says it will. I don't have a lot of experience with these to compare it against, but it's slightly better than some home DIY options like using a fork or custom made cardboard piece. It's worth the low cost. I wouldn't pay much more than what it's being sold at now.

Arrived promptly, well made. These pom-pom makers are amazing! It intrigues me how clever the design is! After reading other reviews, I went to you tube and watched the video on how to and in no time at all, am making pom-poms like a pro...is there such a thing as a pom-pom pro? lol So I'm thinking of showing my 7 yr old granddaughter how to use this, as there are many clips on line to make really cute poms by using different colors of yarn and cutting here and there. I like this product because I can have something to do with my hands while watching tv.

This really works and you can get perfect-looking pom poms. The directions are kind of a joke, but it's easy enough to figure them out yourself. I'd recommend wrapping as much yarn as you can on each side. They're designed for scissors to easily slide under the yarn and make an even cut - which is important for getting around the pom pom. When tying the knot, the instructions say to loop the yarn twice and then pull. This was a GREAT suggestion and makes it so you can really get a tight knot, preventing the ability to pull out individual pieces. Have fun with this!!

I was surprised at how nicely these were packaged. The box can be used to store the little looms when not in use. I gave this a 3 star rating due to the lack of instructions. If you have never made a pompom, or have only used the kind where you make your own base, you have no clue what to so with this. There is nothing to define the parts. The first instruction, with picture, says "wrap the wool in the semi circle". Okay, which one? There are 4 semi circles. I did wrap one of the four but that made no sense at all. It then said "wrap the other side" but which "other side" are they talking about? I gave up on the boxed instructions and headed to Youtube where they have their video. It wasn't any better. Basically, just what it said on the box. I read through the rest of the directions and got to the part where it says "open the pompom maker toward both sides". Open it?? Where? I couldn't see anything to open. I was just about to return the item when I decided to see if I could find another video that might be more helpful - and I did. The one I found showed how to pull out the little semi circles and that you need to wrap around TWO semicircles on each side. Showed how much yarn to wrap, and all the other little details that are missing from the instructions. When we got to that last step that said to open the pompom maker, I was still a little confused as to how. Then she said it's sometimes hard to do but you just pull the pieces apart. So, I did, and it worked! Now, I am having a great day making pompoms thanks to a video called "The Secret to a Fluffy Pom Pom - Clover Pom Pom Maker". This lady explains it all very clearly and in detail. So glad I found it.

The product is relatively sturdy, works well, and comes in a variety of sizes. The instructions are poorly written, but there are many how-to videos on youtube so that wasn't a problem. Highly recommend!

Easy to use. Saves time, instead of having to find a piece of cardboard & cut to size etc. I love the 4 different sizes. Good for a child of 10 - 12 to use as well. Happy crafting.

had difficulty pulling apart at the end (pin area ) too complete pompom and plastic a bit flimsy still useable tho

Not super sturdy but once I figured them out they worked great. Bonus they come with links to instructional videos
