Super cute, but locks don't work well
These are very cute and soft. My kids absolutely love them and it makes them want to write in their "diary" every day so far this summer since they got it. Very helpful if you want your kids to practice writing without it seeming like work lol. The pages inside are lined, in case anyone wanted to know. The little "baby" bear in the front pocket has unlined pages. My only gripe with this is that the lock really sucks. OK, so my gigantic adult hands were having a hard time opening this lock with the tiny keys, but while I was trying to "help" my daughter open hers, the lock literally fell apart in my hand, and there was absolutely no way I was putting that thing back together. My other daughter's lock didn't fall apart, but it was still a pain in the butt to open. Who'd have thought a kids lock would take an engineer to figure out. Anyhow, I didn't want to return this to just get another hard to open lock (and make my daughter sad in the process 'cause she would be without one for a couple of days), so I ordered a 4 pack of another heart shaped lock set that uses a different type of key. Those were way more sturdy and easier to use for both my kids and my fumbly adult fingers.I would still recommend this diary because of how cute it is, how soft it is, and the fact that it comes with a cute little "baby" booklet. My kids love this thing despite the hiccup with the keys, and now they (and mamma) are happy campers. I just took off one star because of the crappy lock, but the price point of the diary makes it still worth it for me.

Young girls to teenagers will like this
Great idea and cute as heck! Problem is binding pulls away easily and had to be stapled and taped. BUT the 12 I purchased it for, didn’t care that this happened, she loved it!!!

Unique and adorable
The cute front pocket with mini-notebook, super soft plushy cover and the solid, pastel lock make this a stand-out diary for little girls. My 5 yr old grand-daughter loves it.

Disappointed
Cute. But poor quality. My 9 yr old is not happy. It bends easily, lock dosent close 100%, small notebook pages are coming out. Would not recommend. To pricey for the poor quality.
