Men's Micro G Valsetz Mid Military and Tactical Boot

These are the perfect boots for me. I work 16 hour standing shifts and are comfortable from beginning to the end. Love that they offer wide size.

Awesome fit and very comfortable

I ordered 10.5 and these are pretty lightweight, comfortable, and breathe well. The toe box is wide and generous. I normally wear 10.5 Wide and a wide size wasn't needed for me. I could likely wear a 10 with a slightly better fit. There is extra space for length and also a lot of room around the ankle, more than needed. Someone asked me if I was wearing 14s because they look large, it kinda made me think for a moment, despite them being 10.5. I'll plan to get a lot of use out of these and then see what the next best boot is down the road.

Work divides my time between desk work, walking on concrete floors, and sprinting to emergencies. And I weight about 210 lbs, plus tools. I bought these as the replacement for a previous pair I wore for a year at work. The prior ones were starting to wear out at the inside heel liner. Work boot allowance motivated replacement, otherwise I would have worn the prior ones a lot longer, as the exterior barely showed any wear, mostly just some wear on the sole. They are comfortable and breathe well which is a must for me. They are very light, like a tennis shoe or sneaker, contrasted with the steel toed leather work boots I have worn for other jobs. If my feet start getting tired I put more weight on my toes, less on my heels, and that feels great.

If you're going to be on your feet for long stretches, you could do a lot worse than these boots. Super lightweight, very comfortable and well built. Mine took about 3-4 days of wearing (12-13 hour shifts) to break in and now I barely notice them. I definitely recommend the mid length for the best combination of support and comfort. Fit: exactly as expected. Comfort: amazing. Weight: like a cloud. The only thing I might change is the laces - the ones that come included are fine and pretty durable, but kinda thin and if you have big hands like I do that can be a minor inconvenience.
