Great tent in the wind a warm tent two adults comfortable. Two adults two young kids a bit of a stretch. I prefer to use it with a tarp for extra cover from elements. Build quality superb super reliable product.

Pitched first night in the dark without inner as couldnt figure out how to put up in dark !! Storm during night and 100% water proof even without inner . Next 3 days with inner excellent and again water tight .

This tent is very deceptive indeed. It looks so small once pitched. I have to say for me the negative of this tent was getting in and out of it. It’s not easy for an old duffer like me with dodgy knees which is the only reason I knocked a star off. That might be a bit harsh though as for anyone else, this wouldn’t be a problem. Positives of this tent are numerous. It’s easy to pitch. A twit like me had it put up in minutes even struggling with my knees. It weighs very little so is great for backpacking. And it packs back into the bag extremely easily. In regards to the ease of pitching and packing down. I would say something like this completely negates the need for people to buy pop up tents. Yes a pop up might be slightly quicker to pitch. But not by much. Then what ever couple of minutes you save pitching, you loose packing it away again. Not with this tent. It’s as quick to put down and pack up as it is to pitch. Personally I’d never touch another pop up tent again considering how easy the Banshee is to pitch and pack. Sleeping inside it turned up to be a lot better than I thought it would be. It looks tiny but it’s efficient in its dimensions and I got a great couple of nights sleep in it in pretty cold conditions. Around 0 to 1 degrees during the night. The smaller inner space meant I was much warmer than I would have been in a larger tent with higher ceiling. I went for the 3 man version as I’m 6’1 and with an 85 litre rucksack there’s not much more room for anyone else. The porch area was large enough for my boots but not anything more. So in regards to the amount of people? 3 man is very ambitious. Would have to be 3 small people with not rucksacks. Or at least somewhere else to store their stuff. But for me this tent is really good and if I’m camping in poor conditions during Autumn or winter I wouldn’t feel confident using some other tents I have access to. I’d definitely use this one.

This is the older model for the Vango Apex series and more expensive. A brand new Apex 300 is £165, so this Banshee should be £120 or less. Apart from the incorrect price, this is a very good and compact tent.

Purchased this for motorcycle touring, It’s the perfect tent for it, Packs small, Initial setup when you buy it takes a little time hooking up the inside but you can then pack it away prehooked and it only takes 3-5 mins to put the tent up taking your time. I can’t Fault it Honestly
