Resizing lube is essential when reloading rifle cartridges and the Redding Imperial Sizing Die Wax works wonderfully! Many of the resizing lubes are messy, but a quick rub of a finger across the wax and then over the surface of the case is all you need. No messy buildup in the die or all over your hands. Because you use so little, a tin of this stuff lasts for years! I use carbide dies with my pistol reloading and normally didn’t use lube on my cases, but it really makes a difference in how easy the resizing process works! So I started using it on all my cases both rifle and pistol!

When precision is imperative, this stuff works great. Just rub a little on your finger and it goes a long way before having to rub again. If you reload 5.7x28 don’t think twice to get this. I use it on all my necked brass

I've been reloading a long time and had been using Hornady One Shot. It worked fine for pistol and revolver reloads, but was so-so for my 308 reloads. I recently acquired a 30-06 rifle and when I tried to resize the brass with full length dies, it took so much force that I literally pulled the securing screws for my press out of the bench and couldn't get the last 1/4" of case into the die (for those of you that may be questioning the dies, they are RCBS, and yes the rifle's chamber is within spec). I took a chance and ordered Redding/Imperial sizing wax. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! I applied a very thin coat to the first case and it was easier, did the same repeatedly and by the fourth case it was like resizing pistol brass. Because you use so little, there's almost no residue on the brass. A quick wipe and whatever was there is gone. For those of you that want to make your resizing go easier and smoother, this is the product you want.

The only complaint I got is the can is so small it is really hard to open. Other than that it is very slick.
