This is so awesome. So worth the money. Don’t wait, get it. I can’t believe Harley wants hundreds of dollars and hoops to jump through to hook up apple car play. Watch the you tube video, it pretty easy to hook up. I’m not a mechanic and I did it in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend it

To say that I was upset when I found out that CarPlay was disabled without a WHIM is an understatement. I purchased the new GTS to replace the old Boom GT with CarPlay being the #1 feature I was looking for, so when I had it flashed at the dealer and CarPlay didn’t work, I was not happy.The specs on this adapter says it doesn’t work on CVO, but I bought it anyway to try it. Definitely worth $13 to find out. In any case, popped off my fairing, found the connector and plugged it in, and voilà! Works perfectly.I’m not sure if this disables or messes with the built-in wired headset (which is included on my 2016 CVO), but I don’t use it anyway.

Very simple install and works great. It’s a lot better than having the standard menu on my 2023 Street Glide.I would give it 5 stars however it gives the check engine light. Has anyone had this issue and if so what did you do to fix it?
