I was looking for a new yoga mat because I have multiple injuries and needed something with extra cushion, and this one absolutely fit the bill. It is true to size and actually has a full 1 inch thickness, which makes a big difference. I am much more comfortable now when doing yoga and floor exercises. The included carrying strap works well and makes it easy to store, although once it is rolled up, it is noticeably larger in diameter than a standard yoga mat, but that is expected with the extra thickness. The only downside is that it had a very strong chemical odor when I first unpackaged it. I would definitely recommend letting it air out outside if you can. I did not have outdoor space, so I left it in a separate room with the door closed, and the smell faded after about a day. If you are sensitive to chemical smells, just be prepared for that part. Other than that, it has been great. Supportive, cushioned, and exactly what I needed.

have had this mat since june 2024 and it’s still in amazing quality!! it’s so comfy, thick and soft which is why i bought it. i feel like i could use this thing on a rocky ass ground and i wouldn’t feel anything but squishy-ness lol so protection is so good. the color is still vibrant too (i got the lavender color) which i love!! really makes such a huge difference in my energy when i workout, making me feel like dat gooorl 👏🏼 i’m 5”2’ so there’s ample space for me. definitely slip resistant, im able to perform lunges with one leg on and off. also love the band you can wrap around it so you can transport it anywhere :) just purchased a black one for my hubby which is why i’m here again hehe

Very thick and squishy. Color is true to picture. Takes a while to lay flat after being rolled tightly for shipping. Not a problem for me though. Quality is good, although my cat did walk on it and left a few small “tears” from their claws—my fault since I left it out. I use it for floor Pilates work and I’m very glad I got the extra thick (1”) mat because my floors are tile and not ideal for floor work. I recommend if you’re in the market for a thick quality yoga/pilates/barre mat

Love this yoga mat. It is 1-inch thick and provides excellent comfort on wood or tile flooring. I use it at home, but feel it would be difficult to transport – – too large when rolled to lug around, even with the carrying strap.

I'm so glad I got a mat this thick! I originally just got it to lay on the floor exercises, but I now stand on it for lunges, do planks on it, and more. It's so thick it's comfortable to kneel on. I like the pattern, because it helps me position my stance on it, not that you need it, but it's nice. The strap is rather minimal black elastic, but it serves to hold it rolled up, and for carrying. I'm tall so the length is another feature, and two feet turns out to be just wide enough. I recommend it.

Compare that to my yoga mat picture which is a more standard 1/4" mat. So be prepared to haul a significantly bigger mat around . I will say this is very light and not a nuisance to carry at all. The dual elastic band is easy to wrap the mat into a roll and carry. Ideal for people who want extra cushioning for the knees and elbows. Really comfortable product

The box where the yoga mat comes in, has a big Warning about the product being made with cancerous material. How can Amazon sell these type of product without checking if its totally safe?
